{A/N- I am sure some of you might have noticed that Nyx wasn't even mentioned in the last few chapters, and so in this chapter you guys will find out what she's been doing.

I/A- I have a ANNOUNCEMENT to make, You know what I said in the last chappy about removing Rossweisse and adding Brunhilde? Though I made that decision rashly, I later remembered That some of my loyal sla!/Cough-cough Readers wanted another goddess in the harem? So well since we still have time you can tell me the name of the goddess you like for example- Scáthach or Scáthach, how about Scáthach or maybe Scáthach? then again, Scáthach is the best. XD.

BTW, do tell me how was the grammer in the last chapter? I spent a lot of time to make sure there are no mistakes for that chapter, So please tell me in the Comment section if the grammer was good in the last chapter.

"Hah~Its so annoying!!" What, can't I even sigh now? Why am I sighing in the first place. Well it's because of a certain someone with black hair and pointed ears, Yeah you guessed it right. I am talking about Nyx, even though I found her annoying and dangerous for a while after the first time I summoned or more precisely she summoned herself, but after spending some time with her I started enjoying her company, we can even be considered good friend..At least that's what I thought but she's not being honest with me at all!! Hm?

"Oh! Nyx you are here I thought you won't come today too, seriously what have you been doing these days that you've almost stopped coming here?" She doesn't even ask me to sit on her lap or get very chummy with me now, though I am somewhat glad about that as it would be very shameful for me to sit on her lap, now that I have the appearance of a 11-12 Year boy. Its a shame though I miss her softness, *cough-cough*, anyways even though she gave me some thesis she wrote herself, but it's still annoying! I don't know why? But it feels like she is purposely avoiding me for some reason which I don't know and she won't tell me why no matter how many times I ask. And that's very annoying!! But I won't back off anymore. Today I'll find out why she's avoiding me for sure.

"Ah~ It's nothing really why are you lonely without me? How adorable~" Though she tried to playfully dodge his question like always, It didn't work this this time.

"Do you really think it would work everytime? Now stop messing around and tell me. I have the right to know this as your contractee. Now tell me why are you avoiding me nowadays?" Even Nyx felt a little overwhelmed when Mathew looked so seriously at her, It wasn't something she was trying to hide anyway, so she decided to tell him the reason for her lack of visits, not everything though.

"Hah~ Sometimes you are tough to deal with Huey- kun." This was another thing to note, nowadays she calls me Huey-kun instead of Huey-chan like before. It's another good thing, It probably means I am not a little kid in her eyes anymore, Right? Ignoring my doubtful face, she continued speaking.

"Well, you know that I am a Primordial Goddess right? Even though I am mostly free to do anything I want, I still have some duties like looking after some troublemakers from my mythologies and stuff. And when I am bored with it, I either sleep or visit you."

That's a completely logical reason. Given her status it was only reasonable that she'd have some responsibilities too, but we are talking about Nyx here, It can't be that simple. Are those guys from Hell union already making moves? What is she hiding?

"And? You still have something to tell me right?" Ah! it was just for a second but she reacted a bit just now. In all that time we spent together for the last few years Even though she looks the sly type but she's surprisingly quite bad at lying to those she treats with care. And it makes me happy that she cares for me, after all she is my first friend in this world and one of my very few friends if I include my previous life to because of the circumstances and well some issues, But that's aside.

"What? Nothing else really~" She tried to lie her way out again and remained quiet, even after seeing my narrowed eyes directed at her. Let's put a bit more pressure.

"You're not being completely honest here, are you?" I got closer to her, our bodies were just a few centimetres away from touching each- other, but I didn't even notice it, my focus was all directed to her face, I was waiting for a reply. I already knew everything from novel but I still wanted to hear it from her mouth. I want her to trust me more.

"! Well, you know I am just busy because some troublemakers are going wild it nothing more" Alright it's working!

Mathew was delighted that she was now being more honest. Not realizing that it was because she was surprised and nervous at his unusual behaviour that she blurted out those words. And the guilt she was currently feeling was immense. It was hard for her to look straight into Mathew's eyes, after all what she was hiding from him was deeply related to him and she'd also come to like Mathew a lot after being together with him for quite a while. It felt so suffocating that she failed to notice something crucial.

Mathew's eyes had a mysterious glint in them, they were releasing a authoritative and cold aura, as if those eyes belonged to an apex Predator. It was hard to notice it, at first glance as it wasn't very bright.

"Oh~ and who exactly are those troublemakers?" On the other hand Mathew who didn't have a clue of what was going on in her mind he continued pushing further, he looked up to her face with his heterochromatic eyes which was only few inches away.

"Ah! It looks like those guys are making trouble again, I will be going now" However contrary to his expectations, He didn't get anymore clues about her situation but instead Nyx fled away as the situation was finally unbearable for her now, leaving few words and another thesis on various magic.

"Hey wai!" Mathew tried to stop her from leaving however she was already gone, as well as the glint from his eyes.

"Arrgh.. Not AGAIN! " He could only scream in frustration, as the pillow he was squeezing in frustration blew away, sending weathers flying in all directions around him, If someone saw the scene with a sulking child surrounded by pure white feathers, they would have been charmed, especially a certain someone. However, he didn't know that Nyx was also feeling frustrated as much as he did.

••••• Nyx POV•••••

"Hah~ Seriously, even though I knew what I was doing when I first approached him it's hard to even look into his face nowadays." Nyx was back to her castle or to be more specific her bedroom. She had buried her face in a pillow to hide the various emotions written over it.

"Arrgh so annoying ... And what's with that charming aura surrounding him, Is it because he's a fallen? Not to mention his behaviour nowadays.." She was very frustrated and her it was reasonable. After all, even though he never actively avoided any physical contact from her. But he also never took the initiative, not to mention, it has already been almost a year since the last time she hugged him from behind while he was seated on her lap. And now that he has grown up a bit and has a bit more refined charm then before, it only made the situation even worst.

"Hm?" Nyx sensed someone entering her castle and she teleported back to the castle's throne room.

"Hello sister" It was Erebus her brother.

"What do you want now brother you know it's my resting time" Nyx replied curtly to her brother's greeting, still feeling frustrated.

"It's not like I am doing this intentionally, I also can't rest because those sacred gear users keep popping everywhere." However her brother was feeling any better.

"Again, Just how many are going to appear?" She asked wearily.

" I would love to know that too, Hah~ that aside were you able to discover anything new about that (Contactee) of yours." Seeing Nyx making a difficult face, he misunderstood the reason behind her difficulties and tried to change her mood.

"Honestly though, you don't need to waste your time with him. As you said before (we can just deal with him if he becomes a problem)." And he did succeed in changing her mood, however not exactly to how he wanted.

"...I think you should go back now brother" Although Nyx tried to hide it with a polite tone, but Erebus could feel that she was angry.

"Huh?" Before he could ask anything about why she's suddenly so angry, he found himself standing outside of the castle.

"...Why is she acting so weird these days?" Erebus just sighed and left.
