The handsome Alpha helped you

"Brys?" Fan's voice startled me out of such strange thoughts. I took a step back, and blinked, to know where I was.

Storm brought his hand down, with a small smile on his face. "I apologize for touching you without your permission." He confessed, not looking half as apologetic as he sounded.

"It's okay." I took another step back, "It was nice chatting with you, but for now, I need to go." I turned, and ran back to the dorm, without looking back to know if he had left or still following me.

I got to my room and stopped in front of the door. I turned and glanced around to be certain he didn't follow me before I strode into the room.

Fan sat on my bed, waiting for me. "It has been long, host. Hasn't it?" He relaxed on the bed and closed his eyes. Today he's putting on a little black polo with blue shorts.

"Where have you been?" I sat on the bed next to him, making sure not to sit on his tail, so as not to squish him.

"I went on a holiday." He sighed, "since my host doesn't want to complete his assignment, I figured we will stay here for a long time to come. That was why I had a holiday." He peeked an eye open to look at me. "Did you miss me that badly?"

I scoffed at his words. "Who do you think you are for me to miss you? I only wanted to know what happened back in the forest after you helped me to block that stupid Alpha's pheromones.

"Wait, you don't know what happened?" His eyes widened dramatically. It seemed like his eyes were about to pop out of their sockets with the way he strained them.

"Why will I ask you if I know what happened? Do you think I have that much time in my hand?" I lay on the bed, mindful of where he was lying. I can't afford to piss him off, not because he's my system, but for his help when I needed it.

He got a good spot in my books when he helped me back in the forest without abandoning me.

"That handsome Alpha helped you."

"What?" I sat up on the bed, stunned by his answer. I was expecting everything but this. There is no way Storm could have helped me. That Alpha only knows how to bully and tease me.

"He was the one who helped you ride out your heat back then and brought you here. Without him, the stupid Alpha from the other Academy would have taken advantage of you." Fan said with a straight face, to show he wasn't making that up or anything like that.

"But… But that's not possible!" I tried to deny it. However, deep down, I believed him. Since no one I know brought me back, there is a massive possibility that he was the one who did so.

But why?

"I will be right back." I rose from the bed and headed to the door. Fan didn't try to stop me, and neither did he follow me. I exited our room and headed over to the Alphas' building.

I have only been here twice, and in each instance, I haven't gone through their passage. I stood in front of the long passage, and that was when I realized something.

I don't know which room belonged to Storm and his roommate. Hell, I have never been concerned about him.

"Storm?" I called out to him. My voice echoed throughout the empty building. "Storm!"

Standing in an empty hall with so many doors and no sign of life, it looked like the cliché start of a horror film. I expected things to start crawling from under the doors.

"Storm?" I yelled out his name but got no reply aside from the echo. Could it be that he's not in his dorm? Probably, he went out to the garden.

I turned to leave; however, a sound caused me to stop. I listened closely and realized it was the sound of a foot tapping on the ground.

My heart skipped a beat despite my upfront bravery. I glanced down the hall, and back where I came, before I decided to check it out. It might be Storm tapping on the ground to alert me of his presence.

"Storm?" I called out as I closed the distance between where I stood and the place the tapping sound came from until I came to the last door in the hall.

Though the tapping had stopped, I was able to make out where the sound came from. I knocked on the door before I stood back. When I got no response a few minutes later, I knocked on the door once more.

The door creaked open on its own, startling me. A gasp escaped from my throat at the unexpected sound. However, laughter from the room caused me to frown.

I open the door wide, to see Storm laughing his head off on the bed, with his right hand under his stomach.

Unlike the room I share with Ray, his room is bigger. However, the presence of just one bed in the room caused me to raise a brow.

I glanced around the large room, expecting to see his roommate's bed, but what I saw was more furniture. Three couches, a soft centre rug, a golden circle table and a stool were the furniture on the right side of the room.

By the left is his closet, which is bigger than Ray's and mine, joined. His black curtains are drawn to the side, to let in the soft evening setting sun.

His bedspread is as dark as his curtains and couches. The only difference is the dark red roses that adorned it.

Overall, his room doesn't look like the rooms in the dorms. It looked like something that would belong to the teachers.

"Who would have thought the feisty omega can be scared out of his wits?" His laughter interrupted my inner musings.

I turned a glare towards him, and gritted my teeth, pissed with the stupid Alpha. "You heard my calls, didn't you? Why didn't you answer?"

He chuckled. "And miss having you in my humble abode?" He sat up on his bed and crossed his right leg over his left. He looked so at home among the dark colours that it made me see him in a new light.

I folded my arms, "you could have answered."

"But I didn't wish to, so I didn't answer. Tell me, Strawberry, what do you want? Why did you seek me out?" He smirked, "don't tell me you missed my awesome presence. Is that it?"

Though hie character infuriates me, I know I need to do what I came here for.

"Thank you." I sincerely gazed at him. For the first time since I transmigrated into this comic, I don't feel like strangling him.

"For what?" He rose from his bed and folded his arms. "What are you thanking me for, Strawberry? For making your time here memorable?" He asked, feigning ignorance. Had Fan not told me that he was the one who helped, I wouldn't have ever thought he was the one. Not even in my wildest imagination.

Storm was the last person I had in mind.

"For saving me from the forest, despite how much I hate you. Thank you very much, Storm. I will repay the kindness."

"Who told you?" He scowled. "Was it that damned Alpha? I know I should have beaten him some more. That damned motherfucker!" He gritted his teeth, looking pissed. His eyes got darker, and the veins on his forehead popped.

"You were the one who beat him?" I took a step back, shocked once more by the revelation.

"You didn't know?" He nervously scratched his hair. "You see Strawberry. You don't have to thank me or anything like that. I only did what a sane person will. Saving —"

"Thank you." I beam at him, "thanks for not taking advantage of me."

"Are you kidding me?" He chuckled as he nervously ran a hand through his hair. He looked so damned uncomfortable. "I'm used to you trying to have my head every damned time you get."

"That's all, Storm. Bye!" I rushed out of his room and banged the door behind me, only to come face to face with a female Omega.
