The Realm of Awa
It was a normal silent afternoon, the sun was high, shining on the cars and people flying on the street.
Yes, flying.
All of the cars below had their wheels a few centimeters above the ground.
The same was with most of the people.
Even the ones who were weren't flying had a speed of walking so fast that they covered the distance of a few hundred meters in a few minutes.
This was the Realm of Awa.
A realm whose people were proficient in both science and historical cultivation.
The levitation of the cars, a result of the high-end technology and the levitation of the people a result of the people cultivating.
And among this fast-moving populace sat a young girl at the side excuding a pure and elegant aura, seemingly waiting for someone.
Dressed simply in a white t-shirt and jeans she looked about 18 years of age.
She had ebony hair of medium length tied in a pony, pale ivory skin, beautiful lips and a pair of mysterious purple eyes.
She sat there, staring at the sky, towards that black hole adjacent to the sun.
The two looked weirdly harmonious as one shone brightly and other spread darkness.
A sleek black car pulled over in front of her and a person dressed in a bodyguard's uniform stepped out, calling to the girl,
"Miss."
Still lost in her thoughts the girl replied a short, "Hm" and walked towards the car, getting seated inside.
The car started moving.
Perhaps because the girl felt tired and she felt comfortable in the car she closed her eyes.
It was silent.
In 10 minutes, they had reached their destination.
It was a big mansion painted in gray, dull colors.
The girl came out of the car walking towards the sprawling main doors of the mansion which had opened by themselves and entered.
She then entered the building and reached the main hall.
What greeted her was the sight of her junior old man talking on a phone and her senior old man sitting at the side writing something in his notebook, their back facing her.
She entered without making any noise, executing her cultivation techniques so she wouldn't be caught and slowly crept behind her grandfather…
"Nina." A mellow voice called out.
'What the-'
The girl called Nina who almost fell, breathed hard.
'Gosh, that scared me!!'
"Ah grandpa~!"
She stared at her grandfather who had once again successfully thwarted her attack.
Wait-
She hadn't even attacked-
What a humiliation!
But someday! Someday, she will surely surprise him!
She was still young and had many things to learn.
Thinking like this she felt her confidence returning.
Her father who had finished his call turned around, smiling and there was no need to tell why he was smiling.
"…" Stop flaunting those teeth would you!
"Why did you call me?" The girl asked moodily.
"To accompany us for lunch." Her grandpa replied.
"You could just have called me, what need was there to send a car?" Nina questioned.
"To not tire you, of course." Her grandpa caringly replied.
"Such a trivial thing like driving, tiring me out? You worry too much grandpa. I could just turn on the auto pilot."
Raising her brows Nina replied.
"Alright." Her dad's deep voice interrupted.
He signaled her grandpa with his eyes and her grandpa started,
"We indeed have something to tell you other than lunch.
As you are aware, you are the sole heir of our Hyu family and have many burdens to shoulder. Till now all you have received is the formal education. Starting tomorrow you will be receiving practical guidance from the elders.
And yes, no mischiefs."
Her grandpa seriously instructed.
I controlled my excitement and seriously replied,
"Yes, grandpa, I will not be a disappointment."
This was what I had been waiting for! To be able to go to that place freely, without hiding so she could conduct her experiments and find whether her theories were true or not.
Her father patted her shoulder and said,
"Ok, enough with the serious talks. Let's have lunch, shall we?"
"Yes." Hyu Nina smiled.
After having a scrumptious lunch Hyu Nina hung around till evening and denying the elders' wish to have dinner too, she left for her place.
