Chapter 284 - Unaware

After parting words that could change their life forever pass through a few Heavenly Venerate who heard his words. They began to question their power and the path before them. 

Their cultivation of martial arts is done for the sake of wealth, status, and vanity. However, those who soar through the heavens are those whose cultivation of martial arts is done for the sake of pursuing the road of martial arts.

Though, it was not that they had been lacking and merely were not fated to soar through the heavens. 

Caelum understood it as without his luck meeting Sapphire Nawa and giving her wish then it would be impossible for his fate to change.

However, everything else had been his and his alone. He works hard to make every power to his and continue to sharpen the tools given to him. 

This is the reason why the other three aspects of a Cultivator are their Undying Will, Supreme luck, and Heaven-defying talent. Having one will always meet a bottleneck even how much one tries.

He remained indifferent seeing their faces and only hoped they could see past this. 

"Fufufu your words are rather harsh don't you think?"

Glancing beside him was Oracle Heavenly Venerate who was only slightly affected by his words as he had long accepted her fate was in the Great Expanse Universe. It was her choice and did not regret it.

"It may be harsh but those who step foot in this path shall find blood and slaughter. There is only death in every corner and enemies everywhere."

Caelum spoke the truth and only those who pursue true power will inevitably face this. Even his son is a lot better than them in terms of talent in martial arts.

'I should bring Yan Qing, Urizen, and Ryuu here to train.'

Yan Qing was the son of Qing Tan who had been influenced by her Dao of darkness that turned his hair pure black while Urizen was a child of Rias Gremory and Ryuu is the child of Liliena Mercer, His sister. 

Among his children, they were the most talented in Martial Art and had the same personality as him. Though he is proud of all his children, they weren't as ambitious and talented in Martial art as these three.

Some of them prefer the magic system rather than Martial Arts. It was because practicing Martial Art takes discipline and an enormous amount of them.

They weren't as dedicated as these three. Their title as the Martial Art trio is spread among his children.  

"Well, I'll be staying in that tree over there if the two ask where I am then tell them."

She only nodded as Caelum headed his way to the tree observing its mighty stature before plopping down and taking out a piece of scroll.

Oracle Heavenly Venerate let him know that disturbing him would be rude. After she left Caelum unrolled the scroll seeing the black canvas seeing its endless empty space.

He summoned a brush along with blood ink that came from the Realm lords and Heavenly Venerate that had been slaughtered by his hands. 

Dipping the brush into the blood as though they are mere ink began to move his hand that dances through the canvas.

Every elegant stroke where precise and beautiful leaving no wasted movement only him and the brush along with the blank canvas.

He wanted to test how powerful the knowledge and technique found in the painting scripture created an artifact perfect for training. 

In theory, it would act as a place where the environment would be akin to the God Domain or close enough. 

He placed over a million foundation lines and a hundred thousand mind lines ensuring it would not be a one-time use. Caelum planned to use his children to train and help them grow. 

After a few hours, the lines became more in line that started to produce a mystifying air while Caelum did not let the opportunity escape. 

The sound of birds and cicadas could be heard not from the surroundings, but rather from the painting that Caelum had produced. 

A painting based on the Myriad Miles River and Mountain painting but focused more on combat as it had an alternative world.

'It took me three hours to complete...not bad considering how complicated God Domain is based on my assumption. Raphael, can you compare the painting to the God Domain?'

'That much huh? Well to be expected since it doesn't have the Divine Dao but this would be enough.'

He decided to call the painting the Immortal Domain. Caelum wasn't great at naming things but it does correspond to what it does.

This painting was not empty and had its civilization and lifeforms unaware of their existence as mere painting.

Though, this life form still has lived and is capable of cultivating as Caelum places some of the foundations of a universe. 

He rolled up the painting, storing it for later before cultivating his inner world using the Sacred Scripture and Asura Sutra. 

Caelum gathered more of Myriad Origin growing further than before. Still, the amount was few and only barely noticeable change.

It was energy found for the 22nd-dimensional plane where it's present in a lower dimension plane takes time. 

Though, the energies found in the dimensional plane are not stronger per se rather than different from the 3rd-dimensional plane.  

Energies in 24th and 23rd are not necessarily stronger than Myriad Origin, rather they are just different in structure and form. He is only able to recall the names of 18th and above energies.

This is from  18th Dimension: Letum Quietus, 19th Dimension: Firmament Aether, 20th Dimension: Rukh Akasha, 21st Dimension: Manas Lacrima, 22nd Dimension: Myriad Origin, 23rd Dimension: Supreme Primordial Energy, 24th Dimension: Pre existential Entity. 

Those at Pre Existential Entity are the firstborn in the creation of the 24th Great Palace of the Upper Cosmos. They are the ones who brought forth and gave energies in these dimensions becoming their domains.

He was unable to recall those Pre Existential and only knew their title from Light, Darkness, Madness, Evil, Desires, Hunger, and Endlessness.

Regardless, Caelum was able to gather and absorb more of the Myriad Origin into his Inner World. Afterward, he opened his eyes, noticing that a day had passed, opting for him to frown.

'How unexpected my perception of time and other things seem to be still in disarray. I thought it's only been a few hours.'

Caelum spotted a young woman walking up to him. It was expected that Ji Luoxue would be the first one to find this as Xuanyuan Chenfeng had been far too arrogant making it difficult to accept the reality of his existence. 

Her atmosphere was more refined like an overflowing cup. She had found the answer in her Martial Road.

Surprisingly, she was able to get out of her dilemma rather quickly. Some take a few months to a hundred years to find the answer.

This is similar to someone finding out their existence is nothing more than a mere story and needing to face their existential crisis. 

"You're the first to see me...tell me, have you decided on what road you choose?"

She hesitated for a moment showing her doubts and inner demons trying to crawl into her mind. Still, Ji Luoxue spends the whole night continuously asking herself knowing how easily she can be killed.

Once ascending in the God Domain then the favor of her family is meaningless and she would be nothing more than mere dust in the God Domain. 

"I have asked myself the question you bestowed. I've already headed in the Road of Martial art and stopping would be meaningless. I would rather die while pursuing the peak of martial arts than be an insect who accepted their fate!"

Caelum smiled that she was able to find the answer. She stared intently, having unwavering ferocity ready to die in front of him.

"I hope you won't regret that decision!"

"I won't, Master Tian!"

"Thankfully you've succeeded in maintaining your Martial heart."

Xing Wei arrived at the scene relieved, seeing Ji Luoxue able to pull through but left bitterly recalling Xuanyuan Chenfeng who was still in a state of confusion.

"Master Xing Wei, you're here as well. I told you that by challenging their mind and heart would solidify them."

"I won't deny the benefit but the risk is still worrisome."

"If they can't pull through then they are destined to be another insect under the heaven."

Xing Wei was baffled by how bold the way he spoke was. He took the God Domain to lightly unaware the one his challenge is far from their reach.
