"Forgive me, my Lady." I repeated. Before I could even ask about it's relevance, she lets out the most annoying bursts of laughter.
"Bwahahahahaha. He really said "my lord"!! He actually said it! Hahaha" She laughed without a worry, leaving me looking as stupid as possible just standing there.
But calm down me, calm down. She may be annoying, but she could still erase you from reality with a thought.
After a little while, she finally calmed down and went on to explain the entire situation.
"It's really been a while, I guess it's Hyouta now, isn't it? The dance is nearing the finale, and your partner still waits at the veranda for you to take her hand. How long will you let the music play and waste it's melody?" She said now with a melancholic and somber expression.
Her fingers snapped, the echo saturating the entire room. Almost immediately, a pristine kettle and teacup appeared on a table. She gently pours herself a cup of tea and takes a little sip. Her every gesture was nothing short of majestic and gracious, her presence quite frankly overwhelmed me.
"In any case, it's about time. I won't let the same mistake happen again." She suddenly snapped the utensils away and stretched her hand forward.
Her expression was nothing like before, her quirky smile had rapidly turned into a serious wince. I brought forth shaking my hand and placed it right ontop her palm. For the record, I don't blame myself for being afraid of my own creator. Just cause it was in the form of a cute girl who I may or may not have fallen for doesn't make the situation any less dangerous. That's right! I'm not wrong.
"Hey, You just thought of something rude now didn't you?" She questioned while tightening her grip on my fingers for a bit. I completely forgot she would be able to read my thoughts. A white light began to glow from underneath our feet, and the entire room began to vibrate in accordance her words.
I almost immediately started to panic and los--

THE WORDS OF GOD
THE MOST HIGH SPEAKS
At the end of your desires, you will die.
You began and so shall you end.
However, you will not have death.
Atoms. Insects. Trees. Animals. Man. Land. Higher Worlds. Life. Death. Something. Nothing. Truth.
All facets that I have created in this world will hear my voice and obey my desires towards you.
Death awaits you. However, you shall not die.
I will be with you. I in You and You in I.
Selah.
I held on tighter to her hands in dread, unknowingly pressing my face into hers. For some reason, my mind wouldn't let me picture it well. It all became bleak. My pre-death memories became too blurry for me to remember exactly what happened during my death. I didn't even know… who I was. This was odd.
And just then, I felt her lips gently press unto my cheek, causing a surge of strange emotions to wash over me. She pulled back slightly, and when I met her gaze, she was smiling at me, a soft, warm smile that made the world around us blur.
My breath caught in my throat, and my beet-red face couldn't help but smile back, feeling a mix of nervousness and something I couldn't quite put into words.
"Huh… What was that just now my Lady??" I asked holding my blessed left cheek, staring at the gallant smile she wore that made her look as an angel descended from heaven.
"But I'm not an angel though, I'm God" She answered cheerfully, not even paying mind to the intense violation of privacy she just performed.
"You're reading my mind again aren't you?"
"Well duh" This privacy invader had no intention of covering up her deeds. Not like I could do anything about it though.
"Listen up, You have my blessings. The world will protect you and it's composites will honour you. However, if you were to lose the favour of your God, it will be the end of you. The world will curse you and will make sure to erase the blemish. Fight and show me that you are worthy of me. So… come meet me again. This time, not as a deceased soul, but as your own god." She said with a rather serious tone, scaring the butterflies out of my tummy.
The space began falling apart with us at its center. I clenched on tighter to her hands, still a bit terrified from her earlier declaration. My first ever mission after dying.
"Alright, I guess that's time. As you've probably guessed I really love you a lot, so make sure to come back here. You wouldn't want to make me feel like a wife waiting for her husband to return from war now would you? You wouldn't want me to be lonely right?" Her azure eyes glowing wildly and staring deep into my soul as she asked. "So if you don't want that, reach me. Stretch your body, mind and soul to whatever the world brings and at the end, I'm sure. You will reach me, child of man!" She proclaimed, her voice further propelling the destruction of the space with a blinding light that scattered in all directions.
A feeling I had never felt before, erupted from the depths of my heart, scattering all reasoning I still held on to. That's probably why, the only reason I would. I reached out and pulled her into the tightest hug I could muster.
Her feelings suddenly began to reach me, the years of lonliness she must have felt. I could feel her deep sadness and frustration. She reciprocated the embrace and held even closer to me, that was the moment I realised I was completely roped in.
"I will change it. Be rest assured, I will return for my Lady." With burning determination raging from my soul, I uttered the most cringy line in the book, but I couldn't care less. Not when I could see a face like that.
Just then, she pushed me. I slowly gravitated away from out embrace and into a sea of nothing. I was rapidly losing my ability to think with each inch I strayed away from her. She never changed her perfect smile, even until the end.
"Hey!! What's your name?" I asked with my last iota of strength. Almost completely swept into the void. And proceeding, were the last words she said to me.
"IZ----I"
