Training Pokemon

For a while I have read over all the cut and paste concepts on the Pokemon world trying to make the host strong as well as his Pokemon using the gamer system. I understand it's a dangerous world and you want to give the MC extra plot Armour. I thought about this and realized that the host would rarely fight in matters that needed strength except in situations that dealt with Legendaries. If that becomes par for course though in the story. What's the point of making this a long term novel that deals with the growth of a character. I would've set this as a short novel that deals with an overpowered MC that one shots all situations that need it. Also I wish to point out that Pokémon have sentience. The world also has abundant food with berries being around and the things that happen in Pokedex's in the games, I'm gonna try to stay partially away from as this is rated at a rating lower than 18+. (That's mostly because I find cursing unnecessarily to be just plain bad etiquette. I can understand if it happens when something bad occurs and you can't control your mouth. But flippant use of them just to annoy people is just that. Annoying...) The original story is also about friendship, journeying, and finding a purpose in the world they're in with their friends. Sabrina, Dawn, and May deal with contests. While Ash, and Iris love battling. Brock even finds a purpose on his journey as a breeder fully going into the field instead of just pursuing it as a side hobby like before when he had to take care of his brothers. As such I find it, while not useless for writing. A complete disappointment and withdrawal from the nature of what this world represents. What with hope and friendship being these main parts, and if you're fighting every creature you meet into submission. How is it possible for you to truly bond beyond servant and subject. Another thing is inside this story I will not limit the host to having 6 Pokemon on his being. No this would only apply to gyms or competitions as these kinds of things would require a more formal structure. I have decided on a new idea for this system that instead focuses on the Pokemon themselves. This includes knowledge, buffs, items and so on. The system will be less of a RPG stat layout directly as this still exists. But the stats come from training with the other stuff like others would train in a real world. The exception being Buffs. He can also use the system to build a utopia for his Pokemon. He can even slow down the time inside to gain larger training time later on for specific species which grow slower like Ninetails or various Ghost Pokemon. Enough of this Synopsis and rant though and on to the story. Ps. It's obvious, but I don't own this image. So I take no credit for it. And if someone eventually would like to make an image for this story I will thank you. Sincerely. PPS: Comments help me keep my want to write. When I notice there's not a lot of comments. I second guess my writing, like a lot. Probably for a good reason as I know I like to over analyze things, and I KNOW that's gonna influence my writing. I can see it deeply ingrained. So if you guys like my style please comment.

Chapter 21-World Laws

It had taken me almost two hours to get away from the press, Aura Guardians, and my fans when I had been sneaking away. Shuddering at the memory of the experience I looked over at Rattata who seemed to be shaken, yet it was also smiling. It appeared to be happy with my choice of not leaving it behind with all the people back at the stadium. It also showed the smallest of fractions more trust in me.

It seemed that like with me even the smallest of things could help restore its faith. Maybe it had something to do with the Pokemon world itself. There was some sort of limiter on the violence in this world. Maybe a greater law of this land was possibly in play. Also there was the fact that if Pokemon were used in such a thing the lands they were used on would most likely be destroyed in these cases.

Finding the Dojo in the city that had been given to me I remembered what I needed to do. So calling up Officer Jenny I asked her to come over to talk about the building. Thankfully in this world the cops weren't completely separate from the creation of certain contracts, and finding information about them out. As such any cop could be called to find out about this stuff. I suppose it was due to the natural laws that I was now heavily in suspicion of. If overall peace could be given such as in this world then I wondered why it hadn't spread to others yet.

"Because host higher beings with near infinite power would find that boring."

Sighing with a nod at the logical statement I started going over my inventory. Only to notice something amazing. 170 Bottles of earth. It brought me back to that night where if I hadn't unlocked the power to heal; I would have ended up killing my partner and me. Looking closer I clicked on it to only receive a message.

"Host please name this new type of Poke Enhancement."

Smiling I hummed to myself before deciding on something I rather liked. "System could you call it "Growing Earth,"" I asked completely confident it would be accepted, and a minute later it was. Clicking on a bottle it appeared in my hand only for me to receive a new message.

"At the cost of 100 Growing Earths you can increase the Over-Pokeworld from the size of ten by ten meters to twenty by twenty meters."

Nodding in acceptance I prepared to get another out only to receive another message. Unable to take it anymore I screamed out "System can you please just let me look at the item's effects again." Getting no more messages put into my face I finally pulled one out and checked out it's effects.

"This Item is capable of enhancing a Ground Pokemon's attack by 10 percent, and Grass by 5 percent."

Seeing the second part of the message I increased the objects value in my head. Taking one out I called out Budew. Just like with Charmander the Plant seemed to be attracted to the bottle. In fact you would be able to guess that the bottle most likely possessed fertilizer with the way it was acting. It even completely ignored me, and just wanted to explore it's prize. Feeling a little sad I put it back into it Pokeball with the bottle equipped to it.

"System you can show me the message you wanted me to know," I said aloud. In return a screen popped up in front of me.

"Host you may sell every 10 of these for 5 Pokepoints."

Blinking a few times I immediately sold 60 off to the system earning me 30 points. I was once more rich, or at least not poor. Deciding not to use the points for now I listened in wait. I needed to mentally prepare myself to see officer Jenny after all.

Now this one has been revised.
