Transfer of Power

A usual day in South palace.

Light passed from the window touches the skin particularly the face of a woman that is sitting with her husband on the bed. they are newly married it has been 2 weeks since their marriage and they are very happy with each other. A servant Opens the Brown door which is the way in to their room. The room is pink. With eight pillars in the room one big bed in which the pair was setting, the bed was made of fine silver and the matress was the best in Townsvalley. there was a bathroom and a closet room.The room was designed with paintings,sculptures,statues etc. the aura of the room was very comfortable and cosy and the pair was sitting there talking about there future,the family they were going to build and there was one 1 name that that was heard by the servant when she came in to give them breakfast.

It is the year 23 of King Novagen V. The sun that shine brightly on the glorious and young face of the King was now setting he was old he was on his bed and he was thinking about the future of Townsvalley. His son was with him and his health was not very good he said to his son

"I am not in my best of health son.... and soon.... m..y time in this world will be over. so you have to make a decision... that do you want to participate in the selection of our new King ..... due to mutual social contract I am unable to select my own heir as the next King so you have to make an important decision."

The son nervously stands up, the father looks at his young blood as he replies

"Father I have decided to not participate I don't want this Kingdom i just want to live in this palace peacefully."

"I respec...tt.. your...", as the King was saying that his eyes slowly shut, the sun was set. A brilliant king was now in the after life

"FAATTHEEERRRR" Screamed His son.

Immediately emergency meeting was called the South Palace was seeing quick movements and the room the order was set all the members were present for the meeting as to what will happen now who will be the new King? they wondered. four candidates came forward (and remember this this was happening on the same day the King died)

General OUKI III Stood up from his seat

Kyoga stood up with him

"OYY, U have the guts to be our king?" asked ouki

"Yes master " all the candidates said that at the same time

Kyoga announced:

"Alright gentlemen, We have four candidates for today.

Mehmet I ibn mohamed khusrow

Hyogu III

Junerah ukinawa shin

Harris kip

These four candidates are all cousins of Novagen family and some are from far off areas and some are from far flung areas some are from poor areas and some are from rich areas ,some were close to the King Novagen V some were not.

Today they will tell us about how they will run the country and the house today will vote on the best of the best speech. the best speech will be awarded with the Kingdom.

First up Harri kip, we don't have much time harris"

Harris stood up and started his speech

The previous King has ruled like no other in recent history the 200 years of Townsvalley kingdom. The family has ruled the country. Before this , it was ruled by brothers, but this is the first time that the cousins and other family members are given a chance. So today I present you my plan ; if I become the King, I will expand my military ,I will expand the country's military, I will increase salaries and I will make sure that everyone lives happily and we will be acquiring land. this is the most important part the previous king missed we need more land we need to conquer more places we need other people to look at us and wish that they were part of our country and definitely we don't want that wish to stay wish ,right? so we will conquer the lands and develop them like no other leader has developed them and this has to happen. so , in my reign, I will make sure that we expand as much as possible and that's my plan.

The crowd clapped.

"I …I….. I came unprepared. I did not know we were going to have a speech but i can tell you that i will become best ruler of this country.

I deeply feel for the King. we have lost a gem. Now, I don't care about worldly possessions I really do not care about how my dressing looks like .All I want is a country to be happy, and for that, I have decided some policies for this nation and they are very explicit .they will prove to the world that we are the best; the first one is that we will reduce tax .right now we are very happy but we need further reduction in taxes ,what I am thinking of doing with this country is to beautify it even more ,I want tourist areas ,I want trees and gardens and artificial lakes and canals that will beautify the region… beautify the climate, I want even animals to feel happy ,feel joyful when they live here.I want the salaries of the people increased but I don't want military expansion. I can say that I will expand our territory, that is essential. But, I may not attack our allies and the innocent people, I want to modernize the country. we are past the Stone Age, we have to improve, educate ,create order in Townsvalley . in my reign, I will not be tired , I will work as if this is my passion I will make sure that every street is clean, I will make sure that everyone is enjoying their living, we are at a stage that we do not need much reforms because our previous King has done a lot for this country and I appreciate you all sitting here and listening to my speech and I will make sure that all of your discontent, all of your problems are solved, but at the same time I don't think we have to unleash the military to the world, we have a lot of power, but we have compassion. and compassion ,overrides power… it is high time that we start taking care of the people, climate and the world… and frankly , this is what we are supposed to do . so that's my plan and I'll try my best to stick to it .thank you.

The whole crowd clapped, tears were in the eyes of the few as it was a touching speech to them

Junerah Gave up, Hyogu didn't perform, in the emergency situation , Harris and Mehmet were head to head, So the winner was decided

The Grand Rank Yuroshi Novagen , a Old man with white long beard ,he was in his 80s , he Stood up from his seat to announce the result:

"We , The House of Novagen, Hereby annouce the King of the People of Townsvalley"

All of the members exited the room, mehmet came out of the room and found Belshazzar's son, it was dark, moon was the only light source, they went to the garden of the south palace, they were cloud gazing when Mehmet said

"You miss your old man, right?"

"Very much" – son

"Yeah, It happens to all of us, don't worry, I'm with you"

Listening to this the son started crying

" I miss you father" He said.

The Next day, A new morning was upon Townsvalley, Their New King

*KING MEHMET I*

He came out of his north palace wearing minimal white dress and told the nation one sentence

"Finally the Novagen Race has realized that they have relatives"

For 20 years, The country was literally one of the best countries in the world. education, justice, police… everything was working great, it was heaven to the world, people wanted to live there forever. they left their own countries to live in the Kingdom.

The year is 21 (21st year of King Mehmet's Reign)

Everyone is living happily, the King lives in the Palace where all the Kings used to live. a certain man ,in the black tuxedo enters the room of the King, there's little talk, His face is dark ,due to light not coming directly at his face. There is a little briefcase that is exchanged between them and there's a evil devilish smile on the face.
