King's short tour of the Newlands

6 months have passed since the death of ouki

*info:ouki is nickname for OUK, OUK is the real name of OUKI Hence OUK III.*

The citizens knew about ouki's death but kyoga's death was still a mystery. The world condemned the death of OUK. Many countries, e.g luxor, yero, Paily state,Kingdom of Tyro etc. They were all very concerned about the death of Kyoga and OUK. In that 6 months , 4 major individuals which were part of the Meetings that were held to assess the future after the King were also killed. But unlike OUKI , there death was also a mystery. After 6 months ,people started to wonder about the deaths aswell. But other than that everything was normal. Business was going as usual. Newlands had 100s of new towers, Tourism and industry was all time high in terms of growth and profits. Military was heavily funded.

At the Palace: King was sitting in his throne, He sat there for quite a while, his face was looking as if he was satisfied. He stood up, and started walking, he opened the large door of the throne room, then went out. He was walking in his garden alone. His wife asked to accompany him but he refused and told him that he wanted some time alone. , after a while a servant came to him. His back was facing towards the servant.

"His Majesty" – servant

"SPEAK AT ONCE" – KING

"Y..yes, we have been investigating the various murders, we wanted to ask you what do you think about our initiative"

"I'm not concerned because I know you all are capable of solving this issue" – he looked at him and smiled nicely as he said that.

"Thank... thank you ,Majesty"

"Allright , Take me to my car, we'll travel the city of Newlands today."

The King went to his car, it took him 10 minutes to travel from his garden to The front gate. He went outside.

His journey started from the 6th Avenue Metropolitan Town,Newlands. He was accompanied by five cars which surrounded his car. He was fascinated by the beauty of the country, The street roads were well built. The Lane arrows,Lane markings were visible and the road were clean.the trees in the middle and beside the road were mix of palm trees and other different kinds of tall trees. There were benches and bus stops. The avenue were mostly residential Apartments in 25-30 story buildings. People were walking. Mothers were holding their babies. People it wasn't a busy street. He looked at the people very closely. There was a certain smile he gave, maybe to someone outside. Joshua who was sitting next to the King. Noticed that but remained quiet. The King noticed that Joshua has noticed him smile. The King moved next , the 5th street. That block was quite fantastic. It was clean,peaceful and busy at the same time. People were very happy. No problems . Money to buy commodities. No poor man in sight. That was appreciated by the whole staff in the car. The people on the street were very well aware of the King's presence there, and they were very happy to see him there. The roads had footpaths made of marble, there were no trees, roads were marked properly and there were many brands inside fancy tall glass buildings. He went to the 5th avenue, 3rd street , 8th Avenue, 12th street and observed them properly in his tour. And then it was time to head back to the Palace to take care of few matters.

The extreme facilities and the being able to provide 100000 income to people came at it's cost. People were very displeased about this..TAXES...

The taxes were going up and down in between 69% and 72% so if a person earned a 100000, he would pay 70,000 in taxes and he would still have enough left to live a luxurious life. It was quite worrying but it's negative effect was cancelled out by high incomes. The high taxes were making headlines from time to time. There was a certain rise in black market sales, it stood at 100 to 200 billion but recently it went up to 1 trillion. This was also concerning some people. A columnist conducted a survey in which he asked about one hundred people about taxes

Question: so what do you think about continous rise of taxes. We had 40% in the previous king, and 15% when this country was founded. Now its 70%, what do you think about this?

"I think There should be a control in taxes, I remember reading the goals of novagen in my history book that one of the main goals novagen family was to reduce taxes to 14%, I guess that didn't age well..."
