Chapter 8: To Celebrate, or NOT To Celebrate

I woke up with the pounding of my head. I tried rolling in the bed but, I felt sore all over. I opened my eyes and I regretted it immediately. My headache got worse as soon as the sunlight hit my eyes. I sat up from the bed and looked around. I'm definitely sure that I am not in my condo, but I do know where I am. I placed my head on my hands and as I close my eyes, I remember what happened last night before I passed out.

I stood up from the bed and immediately head for the door. I opened the door and was greeted by Vin, who was already about to open it with a tray of food. I didn't know how to react in the situation we are in, so I just stared at him and waited for him to say something.

"Breakfast, love?" he hesitantly asked me and I just nodded in response. I followed him out of the room to the table where he placed the tray and we sat opposite of each other. He made chicken noodle soup, and its still hot, which really helped cure my hang over.
