Chapter 28: Emergency

"Are you guys sure about this?" Shin asked us for the nth time today and all three of us just nodded at  him.

"I really think this is a bad idea hon." Miggy said expressing his concern about the matter at hand. Denise held his hand and looked him in the eyes.

"Look hon, we've been through this. We need to do this to avoid Maxine knowing that we are on to her. And to prevent her from knowing that Vodka tipped us off." Denise explained again.

"But what if something go wrong?" Vin asked and I cupped his face into with my hands, looked deeply into his eyes and smiled trying to take away all the worry that he has.

"Let us do this, love. The worse that could happen is that our outfits would be ruined." I jokingly said trying to lighten up the mood and convincing both of us that this is a good idea.
