Chapter 21: Officially Hooked on Him

All of us were left dumbfounded by what Denise just said. We stared at her with awe and confusion. A few minutes passed by before Miggy was able to compose himself and finally respond to Denise.

"So, something is really off about her." He started as Denise focused on him. She just nodded to him and awkwardly smile.

"Why didn't you say something to us Den?" he asked again.

"I didn't want to admit it to myself. I didn't want to doubt one of my friends, but with what the receptionist said earlier, everything started to fit together." She replied with a dazed expression. I knew something happened after they went to the lobby earlier.

"What did she say?" Shin finally got his voice and asked. Denise then took a deep breath and begun to tell us what the receptionist told them.
