Chapter 18: Dropping the bomb

My feet were planted at the floor, I couldn't move. Tears were forming in my eyes and I'm trying my best to hold them back. I felt a shift from my side and Vin began to walk closer to the message, but I grabbed his arm with my free hand causing him to look back at me.

"I'll just look at it love, don't worry." He said to me, so I loosen my grip on him. He smiled at me reassuringly and walked away from me and towards the glass wall. He looked closer at the written message and I heard him sighed in relief.
