Chapter 16: Happier

We were bombarded with question right as soon as we sat down at the table. Most of them from Denise and Angel, while Shin was smiling at his seat, his face saying, I knew it. Miggy on the other hand keep staring at Vin, trying to get a read on him, which Vin was gladly to return. They were shocked to hear the news, but I know that they were already expecting this to happen, sooner or later. Our dinner was a crazy fiasco, that I don't regretting coming to, even though they were a bit embarrassing when they were talking so loudly.

"So, Migs. Where have you been all these years?" I finally ask to shift everyone's attention to Miggy.

"US. I never had the chance to say goodbye, well, I was in a coma when we flew there." He replied to me with a bit of humor in his voice.

"Hey, you always said that you're Spiderman when we were kids. Who knew you were lying about that?" Shin said making Miggy laugh at his remark.
