Chapter 14: The Return

I didn't know that preparing for a date is this stressful, how can other girls manage to do this every time they go on dates? I usually just wear anything that I want whenever I go out, but this time not a single outfit in my extensive wardrobe feels right. I don't want to look overdressed, at the same time, I don't want Vin to think that I was too lazy to make an effort. I'm really getting frustrated about all of this, I've been standing inside my walk-in closet for more than thirty minutes now with almost half of everything I own are now thrown on the floor.

"Oh my gosh, darling! What happened here?" my mom asked as she navigate towards me through my cloth cluttered floor. I looked at her, pouting and slumped on the floor in defeat. She just smiled at me and helped me up. That's when I realized that she was holding something in her hands.
