"Den look what grandma Mindy gave me." Mitch said to me with excitement in her eyes as she fished out a gold chain necklace under her collar then showed me the circular pendant embellished by little diamonds around the center engraved with the letter M.

"Wow, Grandma Mindy really has great taste when it comes to jewelries." I said admiring the beautiful necklace she showed me. Grandma Mindy took care of Mitch growing up, she was her grandma from her mother side. Because of Mitch's parents being at work most of the time, Grandma Mindy always took care of her together with Mama Beth and Papa Andy. Mitch adored her grandma as much, they were so close that she considers Grandma Mindy as her first best friend.
