CHAPTER 3: WHAT'S MY FATE?

It's really astonishing that Damian actually saved you yesterday. I can't deny the fact that lots of the females present at the scene were envious of you." Rachel said to me in a low tone while I stared at her puzzled.

"You all think so much...Damian did that out of his good heart and it has nothing to do with those silly fantacies of yours. He would still punish me anyways." I replied still lost in thoughts about the punishment waiting for me.

Rachel couldn't stop jeering me and it was really unsafe for me because I was worker to his family. A nobody doesn't fit into those wealthy classes and that was a clear fantasy. I bit Rachel's right ear so hard while she screamed aloud in pains. Rachel chased me round her mum's mini garden while I took off to my heels. Rachel loves bantering and she spills her mind in that opportunity. I was clear at the fact that she had soft spot for Damian and so as the rest of the young girls working at the ranch. Some were giving me cold shoulders at that little kind act of his.

**Home**

I arrived home later in the day and I could see my mum in the hands of some men in similar uniforms which I suspected were servants but of whom? I hurriedly ran towards them, facing my poor mother. She seemed calm when I walked up to them unlike the reaction she gave yesterday when those hefty men held her captive.

"Mother why are they here? Why are they holding your both hands like a thief?" I questioned her confusingly.

"They are here for you Julienne Powers my precious princess. Damian sent for you and you already know the reason you're being summoned." Mother replied me while I looked around looking at those weird faces in our home.

"Get her already and let's leave. Our young master would be waiting for us and the reason we're here has been fulfilled." One of them said.

I refused them from holding me since I wasn't going to refuse from following them along. Mother embraced me before our departure and she wasn't stopping them from taking me. Seems she was still owing Damian the gratitude of saving my life yesterday. The last time I visited the Robinsons was when I was still a toddler where mother was totured for a crime she didn't commit. I really detest that family 'cause of the pains they had put i and my mother into. Damian had a cruel family but lucky enough he had a good heart not like he's innocent though.

★★Ten minutes later....★★

We arrived at the Robinson's mansion and every memory was still intact there. They dragged me inside the court while I shrugged my shoulders arrogantly. I tried escaping from their grip but they were many. I was dragged towards Damian's private courtroom and it looked like an entire house. The arrangement of the couches, curtains, tables and mini bed was amazing and thrilling. That was just a part of the mansion looking like a building on its own. Damian was backing us when we got in and it looked like he was busy working on something on his laptop.

"Little master we are here with the pauper you were expecting" One of the servants on a brown curly hair said to him while I looked at his whack face in annoyance. I almost kicked his groins to be honest.

"Did you forget your senses before stepping into my courtroom or it was done on a purpose? Where are your manners? You've forgotten to knock before coming in?" He questioned them in a rudely in a deep tone and that gave me a certain kind of satisfaction.

"We apologize for our bad manners and we hope to be forgiven." They apologized in unison bowing before him.

Damian snapped his fingers at them and they disappeared from his courtroom immediately. I tried leaving with them but I was pushed into the court room getting the door banged at my face. I was left in there with Damian and i couldn't feel my heart beat anymore. I noticed some sweats round my nostrils and my wet palms kept rubbing against each other. He wheeled his rolling chair round facing me right now. His hair understood the assignment because it flew alongside with the rolling chair. A part of his hair covered his left eyes and I couldn't stop staring at those wet pink lips of his. I was lost at the pretty being before me but I didn't forget the reason I was in his courtroom.

"Look at those pretty innocent eyes and one wouldn't know you're a thief. I still don't believe you could comit such a degradatory act. Is that what proletariats are known for?" Damian questioned while I threw my face away in annoyance.

"Don't use my crime to point accusing fingers on the lower class. They might not have money as their own voice but they aren't voiceless citizens." I replied him with so much guts already pissed off.

"Your tone is unnecessarily harsh especially when you're the one that stole from my family. I wouldn't be lenient with you in your punishment anymore." Damian replied me while I looked at his face seeing the slight anger in those small eyes.

I folded my arms looking into those eyes trying not to appear feeble but at the same time my ego was being humbled at his calm appearance. I felt like apologizing to him due to my rude reply but I wouldn't dare do that. He was higher than me in rank but I wasn't brought up to be such a weakling. Damian stood up from his chair and he was tall enough about 6ft tall in height. He approached me almost close to my chest. He roughly manhandled my hair while I tried maintaining my cool atleast giving him that respect as son of my master.

"Your punishment is that you will be my personal slave for two weeks and I wouldn't promise you an easy job. Get your ass ready and get dressed into those rags lying on my mini bed."

He said to me in a low harsh tone, pointing at his bed as my eyes followed the movement of his hand.

The dress I saw on the bed was really a rag because it was worn out and ugly in appearance. I wasn't going to wear that but I didn't even have a choice because I would have been late yesterday had he not done me a favour by saving my life. I was only agreeing to all these because that was an honorable act from his own side. I heaved out a loud sigh, heading towards the bed. I picked up the dress in disgust and it had such a bad smell. I folded it into my right palm returning back to Damian.

"It's not like I'm left with any choice even if I want to bluntantly refuse. I will get home and prepare for tomorrow. I'll start tomorrow that wouldn't be a problem." I replied him, trying to leave the room already.

"What do you think you're doing? You're to sleep at the servant quarters from today till you are done with your punishments. You aren't going home anytime soon." He said to me while I popped out my eyes at him surprised.

"Wtf!!! I can't sleep in this mansion, this is a nightmare to me.
