Chapter 7- Is It Him?

*Ava Jones POV*

"RN", this word uttered by me without me knowing. I was in pure shock when I noticed carefully that in everything RN initials were drawn.

Why didn't I notice it before? , I guess probably by being too much into the given work.

The one who gave me the umbrella had the same initials"RN", is it him?

It makes sense cause when we shorten the name Rylan Nichols, it turns into RN.

So he is the one who gave me the umbrella! Omg, should I return the umbrella?

What if it is just a coincidence? I should ask someone about it.

"Bella? ", I called my coworker's name.

"Hmm? ", she hummed when I caught her attention.

"I notice that RN is written in every stuff of boss, what is the meaning of it?", I asked.

She looked at me and said "Our boss has customized everything of him with his initials even small items. So nobody can have his stuff, he doesn't like to share them."

"So nobody can have anything have same as him? ", I questioned her.

"yes! ", she answered.

I went into deep thought.

So he gave me the umbrella but she said that he doesn't share his stuff. Maybe I needed it in an emergency that's why he had to give it to me.

I want to return it and thank him but I know he will make fun of me.

Why the fuck it had to be him out of all people!

Does he remember me? Probably not, his behavior already tells it. What will be his reaction when he gets to know about it? I hope he doesn't smirk. Sometimes I think his face is paralyzed and it makes it seems that he is smirking.

*Meanwhile Rylan's pov*

"How the fuck, she completed all this in one day!?", I spoke out loud.

"Was I testing her or was she testing me? "

"That CEO must be blind to fire her!"

So if my test is done, should I give her normal work orrrrrr should I give more work to test her limit, I chuckled at my genius idea. I will give that tomorrow, I should let her rest today.

I was peacefully sitting in my seat but it all got interrupted when I heard a knock.

"is it Ava?", I thought.

I don't know why but I started checking myself that am I looking presentable or not. What's wrong with me now?

I have noticed that whenever I am with her, I want to look good-looking. Maybe it's because I gave her a lecture on being presentable in her interview. Yeah!, that must be the reason for my changed behavior.

I acted to be busy and said "come in!"

The door opened.

"what are you doing here", I said unconsciously as I expected it to be Ava.

"Why?, can't I be here to visit?", he said.
