The odds were in his face that Kaiden wasn't going to come. He had tried to reach him all through yesterday, while at the golf centre with Janet and his dad, and even after that. The entire night had been spent trying to contact Kaiden to be sure that he was okay. At some point, he forgot about the amount of will he'd put into convincing his mom to push for Kaiden's return. He chose to ignore all that and be more focused on his brother's actual state in that place.
After a few more trials, Larry's desperation got replaced by a wave of outrageous anger and the only person he could blame for it was well, his father after all. If he had not sent Kaiden away in the first place...
Well, that was yesterday.
Larry had considered that waking up might help him feel better but he had only got worse than the night before.
