Cool Mom
After freshening up and getting ready for bed, she decided to give her mother a call just to hear from her.
She would have preferred to hear from both her parents, but since it was morning over there, she knew they would probably not be together since her father must have left for the office, and for some unknown reason, it was her mother she really wanted to speak to.
"How is my beautiful angel doing?" Nana asked after she received the call, happy to hear from her daughter even though she was getting ready to leave for a meeting.
"I'm alright. I was missing you, so I wanted to hear your voice," Haewon said, and Nana sat on the edge of her bed.
"Did you call your father already?" She asked with narrowed eyes.
"No. It was you I wanted to talk to," Haewon said, and Nana's antennae went up.
"What's wrong?" Nana asked with concern.
"Nothing. Everything is fine. Can't I just want to hear your voice?" Haewon asked defensively.
