I had no words. How was this possible? This man's plot armor truly does defy the heavens. I had literally spent the last century planning and scheming to create the Amos's foolproof mc divine destruction formation to kill him, and despite that, he still lived!?

Drained of all my energy and in total shock, all I could utter was a single word, "How?"

My lifelong enemy smiled mockingly at me and decided to entertain me. "It's simple; I had more desire than you."

Not wanting to continue this pointless conversation anymore, I pulled out my sword and stabbed myself in the heart.

As the color started to drain from the world, I saw a shocked look from my nemesis.

I had just failed my fourth attempt at killing the main character of this shitty Xianxia world.

As a familiar darkness enveloped me, I saw a faintly translucent humanoid shape slowly start floating towards me. As it got closer, I already started dreading what it was going to say.
