Dreams

William who was sleeping had a dream, he was standing before a girl in armor, sword stained with blood.

"Sorry, I believe you should give up on me. If what you say was the truth, then it's most likely we will never be together. No matter how many times you wait for me."

"I will never give up on you!".

The scene changed again, he was on the ground looking up at the girl standing on top of a pile of dead bodies, the girl turned around and said: "I will take my revenge against them for hurting you. Have no fear, it's only the beginning".

"I don't need revenge, I just want you by my side." But no sound came out and the girl disappeared.

The scene changed again, he was pushed off the ground at the edge of the cliff. "Help m-". A frail girl grabbed his hand and pulled him to safety but she fell off the cliff instead. She managed to grab hold of a rock.

"Wait for me, reach your hands towards me." As the girl had a weak body, she smiled at him "At least I managed to protect you". Not long the rock broke off the cliff.

"Noooo!".

Xyleria was dragged by Liam saying his dad is having a nightmare and is not waking up. Xyleria entered the room saw William with his arm reached out suddenly shouting No. She walks up to him and shakes him awake. But he was not waking.

William who was still having the nightmare saved the girl from falling into the sea, he lost balance and fell down to sea. Xyleria who poured a glass of water splashed it on William's face.

William opened his eyes in shock and saw Xyleria holding an empty glass. "Liam, next time if it happens again just spray some water." As she pours another glass of water for William. William who was drenched wet stared blankly at Xyleria, teared up a bit. "Erm hem… was I too harsh? Change your clothes, breakfast is long ready." Said Xyleria as she left the room.

Liam grabbed a towel for his dad and said "Dad, are you ok? Don't be scared of your dreams, it can't hurt you. Next time if you have, I will have water on standby." William thanked his son, laughed at the thought of his son pouring water on him. He went to the bathroom to change and dry himself. Soon both father and son reached the dining room.

As everyone was eating breakfast, Xyleria spoke up "Liam. Sora. Today is your first day at school right?". Liam and Sora nodded. Xyleria signaled KI the 2nd to bring forward their school uniform. A black robot moved towards holding 2 sets of uniforms, of the same school. Liam and Sora took their uniforms and went to change. After the 2 kids left to change, Xyleria asked Ryuu and William to stay seated first.

"A situation has come up, I will be assigning bodyguards for them. Since they are entering the same school just different grades, they will have a separate set of guards. I already informed the school. Sorry, I did the arrangement without your acknowledgment." Said Xyleria.

"Ok, I understand." Said Ryuu. Sora ran downstairs asking for his father to help him as he got stuck in his pajamas. Ryuu soon left to help his son to prepare for school.

William thought over what Xyleria said and asked "Is it related to the scientist?".

"Maybe. Does anyone else know about Liam's history other than us?".

"Other than us would only be the scientist. Did you find out something?".

"Yesterday's incident might have been caused by him. It seems like he found out about Liam and also… Nothing."

Xyleria shooked her head and said "It's best to have your guard up. We might have a situation at hand. You better look out for yourself too. Come to think of it, you have a similar ear cuff to mine." As she held her chin.

After taking a closer look, "Anyway if it is the other pair of my ear cuff, I am sure it will bring you luck and safety."

William who saw Xyleria getting close to him, felt nervous. Until he heard what she said which brought back some memories of when they were still in the experiment facilities.

Xyleria then left to prepare to go back to the agency for her appointment. When she reached her room, she saw Liam trying his best to wear his school uniform. She chucked to herself and helped Liam to wear it properly.

"Your uniform and Sora's uniform are slightly different from the students in your school. Though it may look the same it's different, it will protect both of you. Plus I request the uniform to be flexible in terms of temperature. Well, the exposed parts can't be protected, but good enough." After fixing the uniform, Liam was looking smart.

Liam looked at himself in the mirror, the uniform has red stripes and a white base. Xyleria then puts on his hat. "Mom, how do I look?" asked Liam.

Xyleria who was admiring Liam said "You look handsome and cute at the same time. Let's take a photo together." Liam nodded and stood beside Xyleria, while Xyleria took out her photo and took a selfie with Liam. The mother and son went out after prepping and saw the rest of them outside waiting for them.

Sora ran towards her and asked "Mom, how do I look? Dad said I was cute." Xyleria bends down and said, "I agree, you look cute and handsome." As she rubs his hair. Soon they all arrived at the school gates. The car was parked directly at the school gates, they all stand in a row facing the car. "KI take the photo." Said Xyleria. "Yes sir." The side of the car had a high res camera, so KI moved it to take the photo.

After taking the photo, they saw Liam and Sora entering the school. The parents were amazed at what the car did and puzzled by the three adults waving goodbye to two kids. They began to gossip nonsense. One saying maybe the girl had a harem, the other saying they might be in a love triangle, another guessing who's kids is whose. Soon, another car came up William bid farewell to Xyleria and Ryuu. Xyleria then brought Ryuu to Z∑RO Empire.

"Arent you getting off too?" asked Ryuu. Xyleria shooked her head no and said "I took off, I need to be somewhere else. Have fun at work." And drove off to the agency.
