Part 22:

Sir Norix's eyes opened immediately as he heard the emergency warnings. He takes one last look at Clara before he gets up and wears his armor as quickly as possible. He equips his sword and bow and arrow. He left his room and picked up a bar of metal and he twisted it, preventing the door of his room from being opened just in case.

he whispered to himself that Clara would be safe and he bolted to the entrance of the kigdom.

Numerous soldiers and other men start to position themselves with crossbows on the palace wall and a big battalion waits behind the pace gate with their swords and flamethrowers.

Sir Norix scales down the wall and reaches prince Theon when he saw something move in the bushes. "King Theon, 11 o'clock."

Sir Norix shoots his arrow into the bushes and a loud grunt was heard. A body fell out from it and multiple people started to get out of the forest.

King Theon came out from hiding and yelled at the top of his lungs. "IMPERION!!!"

The gates opened and the people yelled as they charge to the attackers. The archrsa and crossbows started to fire from above the gate and both Theon and Norix joined in the bloody fight.

"Behind you" Sir Norix yelled as he fired an arrow through an enemies head that was about to strike Theon.

After a hundred enemies killed, multiple started to retreat and Theon looked impressed when sir Hosa came to them with a hostage.

"Good job, Hoshi" King Theon said as he signalled one of the assassins to put the hostage in the dungeons.

"It's Hosa."

"That's what I said, Hoshi." King Theon smiled. Sir Hosa only rolled his eyes.

Sir Hosa looked at sir Norix who was wiping off the blood from his sword. "How is Clara?"

Sir Norix's heart fluttered but it didn't reflect on his facial expression. "I locked her in my room." He said plainly.

Both Hosa and theon looked at him in shock. Theon didn't waste a moment and held Hosa back from attacking Norix.

"Sir Norix, I told you to take care of her." King Theon said as he struggles to keep Hosa from getting to him.

Sir Norix calmly nodded. "She's still sleeping. I barricaded the door for her safety."

Sir Hosa calmed down and shook his head. "I'm sorry. I was..."

"Overacting" Theon said as he crossed his arms. "Don't worry, Hoshi. I told Norix to treat her well as long as you cooperate with us."

Sir Norix nodded. "King Theon. I want to ask you for permission about my marriage."

King Theon looked at sir Norix with relief. "Finally! You decided to marry! Of course I'd give you my permission."

"Really?" Sir Norix asked him to be sure. "You'll let me marry someone?"

Theon rested his hands on Norix's shoulder. "Norix....you've been by my side for so long and you've saved my life countless of times-"

"Bleh!" Hosa said. Theon just glared at him.

Theon looked back at sir Norix and smiled. "I'll even let you marry as soon as in three days. I'll prepare the wedding preparations for you and make it grand just for you and your woman."

Sir Norix nodded and bowed. He knelt down. "Thank you king Theon. I'm sure she will be happy to hear the news."
