Changing Fate

Pandesal!.... Pandesal!..... Pandesal!....

Mr. Robert screaming these words to wake up the buyers of his pandesal ( It is an oval shape of bread with the only ingredients are flour, yeast, and salt.)

'Pandesal' is the traditional bread in the Philippines, most of the Filipino people love to drinks coffee in the early morning and partner it together with pandesal while it's hot.

The words Pandesal came from the Spanish words Pan De Sal meaning Bread of Salt.

"Oh my God! It's already 4:00 am, sh*t! I did not notice the time while playing this mobile legend! I'm gonna late for work but..."

James having a second thought if he is going to be on AFK or continue the game however the game had just started and he will rank down if he chooses AFK. Not only that for sure he will be reported and his points will decrease as well.

"Ahh! Damn! ahh! it's up to Batman! I'm going to continue this!"

While James is too focused on playing the said online games he heard Mr. Robert.

"Hey, James wants to buy Pandesal!?" Shout by Mr. Robert outside, he knows James is already awake and at the same time he is playing ML.

"Yeah, Mr. Robert give 10 pieces!" Reply by James he quickly went outside to get the pandesal and rushed towards the comfort room to take a bath. He made it quick to destroy the enemy base.

James is working as a call center agent and the money he earns almost all of it he sends it to his mother in the province, he came from a poor family and he didn't even graduate in college after he graduated in high school he went to Manila to look for his faith.

He just renting a little house to budget his money for his food and fare allowances. While he is going lock the door he takes a deep sigh.

On his way, there is a group of people barring the way out, one must pay in order for them to leave.

"Hey, James pays up," said one of the burly men that guarding the exit.

"I'm sorry guys but the money that I left is already budget for this week." An apologetic tone of voice from James.

"Huh!?" One of the burly men who is the boss of the group stands up and with undefined facial expression. He grips the collar of James polo shirt and lifted him with just one hand.

"Don't try to angry us little mouse or else I will mold your face into a square." The burly man forcefully took James' wallet and took away all the money.

"You all fu*king of sh*t! you all lazy scumbag you've got a good body but you're all not using it to get a job!" He was not able to hold back his anger and said what he felt deep inside.

"Ah, really? you do have now a bone to fight us? " A big right hand landed on James' face and blood gushed out from his cut cheeks.

"Man beat this twerp!" Heavy kicks and storms of stomps landed on his body. He is just curling himself to hide his face and it eases a little bit of pain on his body.

"You all! Let this be a lesson that no one should ever mess with the bone gang!" Yelling this words while pointing fingers to people nearby who are just watching the pity, James.

Mr. Robert Lu the pandesal vendor help James to get up and lead to James' small house. By noon a beautiful girl name Jenny came into James' house.

While he is still lying on his bed due to broken ribs and pain in his body when he saw the girl that gives him hope that everything is possible. The smile on his face almost reaches his ears but that's only a temporary enjoyment he feels.

"James I know that you really love me but in this life, I just have to be practical, what would be my life if I choose you? my mom is right, this does not love what I feel for you but pity. Goodbye James I know you will understand someday, don't worry you will gonna find the right girl for you. Not me who dwells in heaven which is will never kiss the earth."

James watches his light goes dim without even uttering a word but even he wanted to he can't his mouth is swollen and there might be a crack on his jaw.

(" F*ck!not only my body is hurt but all of my existence. F*ck!") Due to his very depressed, he suddenly has a heart attack but instead, he is smiling.

"Thank you so much, I'm departing now from this world" but before his last breath stops the bracelet beads he buys from the scammer old man in China town, the bracelet broke and the beads scatter while floating in the air with some aura covers on it.

The beads combine and forming a dragon spirit, James was amazed about what he saw he know that this scene was only be seen in anime movies.

"What are these beads? I thought I buy a lucky charm bracelet for luck in love, what are these?"

The Dragon spirit was now completely formed then it utter words to James.

"Kid your very lucky, heavens gives you a chance to change your fate would you agree?"

Out of shock, he did not know what's going on so he nodded his head.

Then the dragon spirit quickly opens its mouth and swallows James's soul but James was still fine in fact he felt relax inside the belly of the dragon spirit, after a second the dragon spirit flies upward and a portal appeared then James's vision went blank.
