Double gate

He took up a boulder and started hollowing it out with his old daggers, he stopped only after creating a rectangular shape cast for the hammer head.

He then dismembered the bodies of his two prey, taking the claws back to the boulder.

{pyrokinesis}

He started melting the sixteen pitch black claws he had obtained right in the mold.

Since the claws lengthened at least twenty centimetres (almost 8 inches) each.

They managed to fill the whole cast, he then impaled the poplar wooden stick right in the still soft hammer head.

To top it off, he infused the mana in the hammer for a couple minutes, almost completely emptying his mana reserves.

The entire process took less than an hour, and now, all that remained was waiting for the hammer head in the mold to cool down and solidify.

He didn't let any of the materials from the crow's bodies go to waste:

While the claws were melted and used for the hammer, the mana stones and the beaks were going to be used as materials to forge the new daggers.

The meat also wouldn't be wasted since monster's meat was always tastier and much more flavourful.

As for the feathers, seeing their sturdiness, he sewed them together creating two cloaks, keeping an extra in case the first one broke.

After all this, the hammer head was finally solid, and he broke the remaining of the boulders around it with his hands.

He observed it with the {eyes of fate}:

~This…. I don't know if I should be happy or sad, it clearly says the materials, flames, and mana were good but I was the problem,

Should I take this as an insult from you Gaea?~ he thought watching the hole on top of him.

He then posed the two beaks on a flat surface in the rocks, and started melting them and hammering, it was only after a couple hours of work that his first masterpiece was finally complete.

The only thing left to do, was to imbue mana, he first broke the stone and made it fall in the still hot material, then started imbuing his mana, after an hour, his mana was completely exhausted and the mana stone had disappeared, he fell to the ground, barely managing to keep his consciousness.

When he finally gathered enough strength to stand up,

it was astonishing.

Finally, he had done it, proud of his work he went to bed, since the sun was already setting.

The next morning, he woke up as always, the only difference being, Elsa was already up, he thought it was a bother arguing with her in the morning, so he initially tried to go unnoticed, however, he rethought about it, and decided she could've been useful.

He opened the door and found Elsa outside, sitting on a chair, he tapped her shoulder and said:" come with me,

we are going somewhere, and bring all your weapons with you."

She did as told, but during the walk she continuously asked about their destination, once arrived in front of the waterfall, they both crossed it and proceeded for the deepest part of the cave.

They were now face to face with the two bright gates, and Elsa remained amazed by them.

The reason he had brought her here, was to clear the red gate before the other gate could completely absorb it, with her stats, it should've been possible to solo clear a rank 1 gate.

As for him, well, today he planned to take them all down, if not even going for the boss.

Before entering, she seemed quite scared and seeing she didn't have any armour he lent her one of his coats.

They gave each other a quick nod before both entering their own fight.

Bruno quickly identified his target, three crows were flying right above the entrance of the gate, he moved away a bit, to avoid having the gate in the middle of his fight, and then started.

Both his daggers were flying in the air tearing apart everything they met while his flames were burning alive the rest of the crows.

About three hours later, at least a couple hundreds of them were lying dead on the ground, some cut in half, some roasted to death.

His mana reserves were running low, he only had about a quarter left.

At that moment, a crow way bigger than the others appeared, finally, the boss had made its appearance.

And this time, it was the real one.

Its size was around that of a small single-engine aircraft.

Even the daggers didn't manage to damage it, and this time, he couldn't simply exhaust him due to his lack of mana, so he risked it all, he jumped and supported himself with telekinesis, to fly towards the boss, just as he was about to hit it, the giant crow moved.

Expecting to see him completely lost and confused in the air the crow turned around to attack him, but it didn't see him.

Bruno had other plans, it was not aiming to attack it while rising, but while falling, it continued to go higher, before stopping and falling down at an incredible speed thanks to the gravity coupled with telekinesis.

In one swift motion, the head of the giant bird detached from the body, and Bruno found himself covered once again in purple blood.
