Chapter 3

The strategy of girls pursuing guys never worked for Nick. Despite a bloody lesson in the past, girls kept coming one after another.

After school, a girl intercepted Nick. She rambled on for a while, and Nick, tilting his head, listened. Akito waited for him from a distance. Observing the situation, he summed it up, "How about being my sister?"

This move was also taught by Akito, but their situations were quite the opposite. Girls Akito pursued would eventually say, "How about I be your sister?" So both Akito and Nick ended up with a bunch of sisters, one involuntarily, the other proactively.

That's why, during their more than a year in high school, neither Akito nor Nick had a girlfriend.

Nick remained silent, gazing at the sky. Akito was afraid he might run into a tree.

Clearing his throat, Akito said, "I want to get out of this place, buy another house..."

Nick lowered his head, "What's wrong with this place?"

Akito said, "What's good about it? You can't even find it on the map of China, and on the city map, it's as small as a fingernail."

Akito asked, "What about you?"

Nick smiled at first, then tilted his head back, looking at the stars. "I want to stay in one place forever with the person I love, anywhere is fine."

Akito laughed and punched him, "You rascal..."

The two of them laughed all the way.

The next day was the weekend. Ignoring Nick's advice, Akito went to the barber shop and dyed the tuft of hair in front of him red.

Nick waited beside him while he got his hair dyed. Akito touched the result and asked him, "How is it?"

Nick didn't buy it, shook his head, and answered, "You look like a fool."

Akito said, "I shouldn't have trusted your taste; you're the one who dumped the class flower..."

After saying this, he waited for Nick to come and beat him up, but unexpectedly, Nick sat in the corner of the barbershop and said a sentence.

"I really am a tasteless person..."
