Chapter 11: Max opens his presents

Five minutes later Max's mother said it's time to open Max presents and Max wanted to see what his friends gave him so when he opened Elliot gift he saw a book and Max looked at Elliot and said "Really you gave me a textbook."

Elliot replied "Yes."

Max asked "And you know today is my birthday."

Elliot replied "Yeah I know."

Max said "So why will you give me a textbook."

Elliot asked and laughed "Aren't you the person that said your trying to take first in school work and so if you want to do that you have to read books."

Max also laughs and said "Okay that's fair so Moses let me see what you brought for me."

When Max opened the box he saw money and he asked "Why did you give me money."

Moses replied " What, is it that you don't like it."

Max said "No, I like it but why is it money."

Moses replied "Well I don't know what you want so I gave you money so you can buy what you want."

Max said "Thanks."

Max was thinking about two things one of them was what were the other people that didn't know him what will they give him while the second one was if his parents really got him a present.

But Max was not thinking of it that much because if he was able to save enough money he will be able to buy what he wants. Max always wanted to be a Martial artist but when he asked his mother or his father some years ago they said that when he is 10 years old they will take him to learn martial art but when Max turned 10 they didn't teach him martial arts and it made him very angry.

Max thought that this year they will enroll him in a martial art school but when he asked his parents if they had any present for him they said no. Then when Max won the competition and earned 1000 dollars he saw an opportunity to save money and enroll himself in a martial art school and when he opened Moses present and saw money he saw that he will soon be able to learn martial arts in a martial arts school but he also knew that the money he will pay will only reach him for only one year so Max can not reach the final belt in martial arts so he wants to save a lot of money.
