" Let's see who tires out first Morgan." Jade said as he looked out through the window.

After leaving Jade's office, Lizzy walked towards the HR department with her résumé in hand. Grandpa Paulson had already informed the department earlier after his call with Jade. Since there was not much to do, the procedures were done quickly before a young man took Lizzy for a tour around the company.

The orientation was short and then they headed towards the marketing department. " Here we are Miss Morgan. I will be taking you to meet the department head." The young man informed her as they made their way to the manager's office.

As her résumé had ' Morgan' as her surname, everyone she had meet so far addressed her as ' Miss Morgan' and she seemed not to mind it. After all, only a few knew that she had married into the Paulson family.

The young lad knocked softly on the office door before walking in with Lizzy trailing behind him. He stood before the desk as he eyed the man behind it.

" We have already discussed this with the other involved departments and we decided to go with that." The man behind the desk said unto the mouthpiece before he gestured with his hand for the two individuals to sit down. He continued with his call which took about thirteen minutes.

" We look forward to our cooperation and if there are any issues that need clarity, feel free to contact my assistant." Saying that, he hung up the call.

" Apologies for keeping you waiting, so who do we have here?" A smile decorated his lips as he eyed Lizzy in amusement.

" This is Lizzy Morgan. I assume the HR department has already informed your office." the young man voiced out.

" Good. Nice meeting you Miss Morgan, am Lance Walker, the department head and I hope we will have a great time together." Lance stood up as he stretched forth his hand and shook Lizzy's soft palm as the young man that came with her excused himself.

" Same here Mr Walker. I hope you guide and lead me."

The duo had a small conversation as Lance asked Lizzy a bit of questions about her previous experience.

" I have already seen your résumé and it's pretty good. I look forward to you sharing your expertise with your fellows and I would love to offer you a piece of friendly advice. If am a bit offensive, I hope you forgive me. Well I have met and seen different individuals with different ambitions during the past years as a corporate employee. There are a lot of young ladies who have come here with attitudes and not with the motive to work and guess what, they all didn't make it far in life. Many are obviously from rich families and some are here as the breadwinners in their families. Therefore I assume that Miss Morgan isn't the same as them and we work together as a team."

Lizzy let out an awkward laugh as she nodded. " Am here solely to work and gain experience and if I divert from the rightful path, I hope you guide me back."

" Great, that's great. Now let me introduce you to the department and get to meet your fellows." Lance stood up from his chair and led Lizzy toward the open space office where the department employees were drowned in their daily tasks.

Numerous employees, young and old, male and female were busy as they typed and focused on the computers and scribbling on the documents before them. The atmosphere seemed tense as there was no other sound apart from the clicking of the keyboard keys, rustling of the papers and the ringing of the desk phones.

Lance stood as a smile plastered his face before he clapped his hands twice, garnering the attention of the employees.

" Listen up everybody and apologies for disrupting your work. I will only take a few of your minutes. Well, I assume you all can see that we have a new face by my side. Everyone, this is Lizzy Morgan and she will be part of our team starting from tomorrow and I hope you all become supportive and assist her where necessary. Let's have a great time together and where is Stanley?

Lance looked around before spotting the one individual he was looking for. " Now let's welcome Miss Morgan to our family."

So feel at home."

Stanley led the small chorus as the others joined shaking Lizzy's hand. This was their company's custom song for welcoming each and every employee who joins the operations.
