Most members of the city's self-defense forces went to convey the message.

In the lab, only Jiang Yu, Weide, and a few others remained. Bi Yunfeng let out a sigh of relief; "Thank goodness for the Wallfacer's backup, otherwise the consequences would have been unimaginable!"

But Cao Bin asked, "You're not going to make it difficult for Cheng Xin, are you?"

It had been heard that the Wallfacer had past issues with Cheng Xin.

Weide looked shocked. "That soon?"

"Go and set up the meeting room," Weide told a few of the self-defense force members.

The lab was not a suitable place to meet with the president.

However, Jiang Yu said, "Let's have the meeting here."

Bi Yunfeng reminded him, "But our curvature drive technology is here!"

Jiang Yu sighed, "I'm not afraid of them looking. If they have the guts to ask, I would give it to them without hesitation!"

He paused, then continued, "I know this is the fruit of your labor.

"As compensation, I will allow you to see the finished lightspeed spaceship tomorrow, and have the designers explain the technical principles to you in detail."
