The deerwolf, or should I say the great deerwolf has evolved into a much larger version of its self.

The great deerwolf body was now much larger, at least 2 times of its original size.

The creature fur and leaves were now dark green. However, the leaves themselves had a brighter tip, giving its mane a unique and interesting appearance.

The monster tail become larger as well its mane.

Not only that, the creature entire head was now covered in the shell like plant as well.

The creature horn also grew in size and were noticeable thicker and sharper. Not only that, their color changed from light green to white and the tips of it were slightly bright green.

(Wow.)

(I grew a lot. I'm quiet big right now, aren't I?)

(Hm…. It seems I didn't changed much, expect my fur being darker and my body being bigger.)

(Honestly, I want to go find something that can give me my reflection and all, but not now.

(I can not only take a two evolution paths, but I can also take two variant option and have both benefits affect me!)

(Last time I took the [Wild] variant, some of my skills ended up being affected by it and I could pick again wild variant last time, but this time it was fused with paths and wasn't a variant, expect for the deerwolf. So, I guess picking the variant affects your future choices?)

(Does that mean that I get benefit depending on my variant type each time I evolve, until I change it or something?)

(If so, picking variant are quite important. It maybe not as important as evolution, but because they can affect some skills. But for now, both dark forest and nature variants are useful to me.)

(What if they send an stronger adventures next time that would be able to beat me?)

(Fuking with humans right now is still dead sentence to me and especially when there could be a settlement very close by.)

(It's better if I try avoid fighting any humans in this forest in order not to have my self get an wanted poster or something.)

(Unless I have no choice or situation is too annoying, I won't hesitate to kill a human. I would also have to watch out if my target is alone or are we located near settlement.)

(Its time to head to the deeper parts of the forest.)

I once again began running through the forest.

Thanks to my mana detection, I was able to avoid all the adventures that were present in the area with ease.

My body may have grown larger by a lot, but it felt… Powerful.

Not only that but my entire body was tougher.

I just rammed through some random monsters without a care and didn't suffered any real damage.

Anyway, I run and run in order to find myself a new hunting grounds, but the monster I encounter so far were kind of…. I killed them with one hit.

I went deeper and deeper into the forest in order to find a suitable hunting grounds.

However, no matter how much I ran for, I couldn't find any suitable hunting grounds for me.

It was getting bit annoying.

I ran for hours, trying to reach the deepest part of the forest, but before I realized, I was already at the very edge of the forest.

"?!"

(By the look of things, I ended up traveling through the entire forest, meaning that there are no monsters stronger than the monsters I encounter before in here.)

(There is also a fact that humans now know about me and they even send some people to maybe look for me.)

(The monsters here are easy to hunt, but do not provide enough EXP.)

(Not only that, I still need to practice my magic and considering the current situation, this is a bad place to practice magic.)

The deerwolf reluctantly began approaching the forest edge before then putting its feet down and then walking out of the forest slowly.

The deerwolf nervously looked around, trying to asses the situation before then fully walking out of the forest.

The deerwolf began slowly walking away from the forest before then looking back.

The deerwolf once again looked towards in front before then walking and slowly speeding up before then starting to run at full speed through the fields of grass.

(Normally I didn't had that much freedom while running around in the forest! But this is!)

(If I were to go down the road, wouldn't I end up arriving at some sort of settlement or something?)

(Honestly going against humans when I don't know how strong their settlement or how powerful people life inside it is too risky.)

(If I can grow by evolving and other stuff, the humans must have their means of getting strong. Like something like classes from RPGs, like priest, warrior, rouge, archer, mage and hero.)

(There are things like levels and skills, so humans having classes wouldn't surprise me one bit.)

(That girl used some sort of light magic in order to create that blinding light that took away my vision from brief second, meaning that humans are also able to learn magic.)

(If so, then it even worse idea fighting them.)

(What if humans posses some sort of training method I don't know about that helps them understand and use magic better?)

(Yea. Fuking around with humans right now is WAY too risky.)

(But considering my current situation, if I want to survive, I will have to eat humans.)

(I possess new skill called [Lesser Hunger Resistance], but how effective it is really? Not only that, but my body got much larger, meaning I need to consume more food than before.)

(This is no matter of choosing or not. I have to take the road.)
