"Uh..." Carly covered her head, still seemingly dazed. As she slowly rose from the stone slab, she felt almost weightless, as if sitting on a clump of cotton.
"My body... feels so strange..." Carly subconsciously touched her arm and shook her head, yet only when she remembered she had just undergone a bloodline transfer and was still in Lucien's laboratory did she belatedly notice Lucien silently watching her.
"Lu... Lucien, Teacher!" Carly's face suddenly flushed red. Against her incredibly pale skin, her cheeks looked exceptionally rosy.
"Your body has undergone a transformation, adapt to it well. When you feel almost accustomed, come find me in the next room." Lucien spoke casually, but also felt it was somewhat inappropriate for him to stay there any longer. He stood up and left Carly some private space.
"Yes!" Carly quickly responded. After Lucien had left the room, she gently patted her face a couple of times.
