Chapter 189: Engage in Battle

The monster hurried forward in pursuit, knowing that if a supervisor saw him, he would inevitably be in for a brutal beating.

When he reached the side of the rock and slowly lifted it, he saw a pair of shoes in front of him.

They were leather shoes, seemingly stained with bloodstains. Here, only those monsters holding whips and acting as supervisors were entitled to wear such shoes.

His heart suddenly plunged into an endless abyss.

Slowly he looked up, and, as expected, he saw the supervisor's angry and brutal face.

"You useless thing."

A great force struck him, and the monster was kicked into the air, blood streaming from the corner of his mouth as he fell painfully to the ground.

A shadow of a whip followed immediately.

All he heard was a smack, and a new gash appeared on his body, blood continuously flowing from the wound.

Yet the supervisor did not stop. Another strike followed.

The sound of smacking rose as the unfortunate monster rolled in agony on the ground.
