Lin Fang traveled through "Journey to the West," bearing the "Journey to the West" text, always thinking that by using his foreknowledge, he would definitely be able to live a prosperous life. However, he suddenly discovered something off about this "Journey to the West"—cannibalistic immortals, deceitful Buddha. Shocked, he turned his head to look at the "Journey to the West" under the dim light. There, the book was flipping its pages under the glow of the lamp, and every page shockingly displayed only two blood-red characters: Eat People!
All of this seemed to weave a massive net reaching to the heavens, and the Demon Clan was the prey trapped within it.
"It is truly terrifying!" Lin Fang exclaimed.
"Do you also find this scene terrifying?" A man beside him, having heard Lin Fang's soft mutter, curiously asked.
Lin Fang turned his head and saw a man in an old Confucian robe, leading a frail donkey by his side.
With just a glance, Lin Fang felt a favorable impression, and the words he had heard in his previous life flashed through his mind: "Those with poetry in their belly surely exhibit elegance."
This was a scholar, presumably a scholar who liked to read.
"What do you find terrifying about this scene?" Lin Fang curiously asked.
The scholar smiled softly and then pointing at the busy street said, "Look at these people, each one appearing righteous but here their true nature is revealed, unleashing the vilest aspects of humanity."
