"How about making forming a team to clear dungeons together?" I heard a voice from behind,
"Eh? Who the hell are you? And why did you just come out of nowhere?" I was so confused.
But what surprised me so much is that he easily snuck up from behind me, even though I was on guard.
"You're either so strong that you can hide your presence, or you're so weak that you don't have an aura." Thats how I managed to not get noticed by level 15-25 warriors when I was inside the tundra dungeon.
My level was so low that my presence couldn't be felt, unless you were a mage. A high level one, at that.
"What's with that all of a sudden?" He replied in an innocent voice.
"Never-mind, just tell me what you want." I don't feel like having a long conversation with this guy, because his tone and look remind me of the average hero.
Blonde hair, an innocent voice, and probably some retarded ideals. "Mr Justice" is the perfect way to describe his appearance, and it really pisses me off.
I just want to punch him in the stomach, but he will definitely beat the shit out of me if I try.
He gives off that sense of danger when I'm around him, and I don't like it.
"Shouldn't you be kinder to strangers? What if I were someone strong enough to hurt you, that could end in an unfortunate way for you." Yeah right, this bastard is pretending to be weak and friendly.
"If you wanted to, you would have already killed me 100 times in the span of this conversation. Just stop the act already, that kind of stuff makes me sick." I'm not going to lie to him, I'll just say what I think.
"Haaa, so I don't have to act like some justice freak around you. That's great, because you're not the only one who finds it infuriating." He gave me a bitter smile.
I'm starting to like this guy.
"With that out of the way, why did you come to find me? Don't just say something like "I heard you say you're bored". I want the actual reason." Being straightforward when speaking to someone is great, for a change.
"And you're not afraid that I will kill you for being rude?" He asked and waved put his hand on his sheath.
"If you needed me dead, I'd be dead. The same goes for being alive. You need me to do something, that much is obvious. If you killed me right now, what good would that be to you?" Maybe I'm wrong about him, but I feel like he wouldn't kill me without a reason.
"Okay, okay. I'm convinced that I'm talking to the right person now." So he was looking for me after all.
"And what's so interesting about an average guy like me?" Let's see what he says to that.
"Average guy? That's not the best way to describe an [anti-hero], is it?" Ah fuck, he knows?
It makes sense though, he would have no reason to look for me if he didn't know my identity.

We had a chat, and I'm not going to bore you with all of the talking. Here's a simple summary.
"So you were sent out to kill me by the princess, but that's not your real intention. Then what is?" That's what I've gathered from everything he told me.
Also, "his" name is Ogden. A real name for once, although it doesn't rally suit him.
The princess is planning a plot against me, that could be a great way to entertain myself for the time being.
"Well, I actually have a request to make." Said Ogden.
"I'm actually a hero, but nobody knows about that. Officially I'm dead, and that's why I got myself a new name." Oh, that explains the overwhelming feeling of weakness that I feel when he's around.
"What kind of request would you like to make to a level 10 newbie?" Even though my title may make me seem powerful at first, but compared to someone like him I'm like an ant.
"I want you to get stronger without the princess finding out. Get stronger and kill that bitch." That's a very weird request.
"With all that power of yours, you could easily blow the entire kingdom away, so where do I come into the equation?" Unless he isn't able to kill the princess due to some circumstances..
"I made a blood contract with the princess a few years back. The contract starts that if any of the two sides do damage to the other one, they will hurt themselves equally as much. And the damage is percentage based, so no matter how much maximum health I have, it's not going to help. I can't tell you the circumstances which forced me sigh this contract, so you will just have to believe my words." He has no reason to lie to me, so I'll just believe it.
"So you need a third-party to kill her for you, is that what you're saying?" I think I roughly get it.
"Precisely, yes. So, do you agree to help me out? Of course, I'm not going to leave you without a reward." My guess was correct.
"Well, I have no reason to refuse, really. I was going to give her a visit soon anyways, I may as well get a free reward along the way." Why not, right?
"Wonderful. So it's a deal, yes?" He confirms it with me.
"Yeah. Pleasure doin business with ya." Wee shook hands on it, and now I have something to occupy myself with for the time being.
"The reward better be good. I'm looking forward to it so don't disappoint me, alright?"
"The same goest for you. Don't die before the princess."
And with that final exchange of words, we parted ways.
It was a pleasant surprise to meet someone like him at this time.
I guess luck is on my side.
..but I don't know how high my luck stat is..
Agh, whatever. You get the point.
What could have been an instant death turned out to be a great opportunity.
The plot thickens. Slightly.
Anyways, hope you enjoyed.
