The atmosphere inside the car was silent.
There was no sound other than the sound of the car engine itself.
There was no music to fill the atmosphere in the car.
Syifa and Andre were both focused on the road in front of them.
Suddenly, Andre stopped his car right at the fork in the road.
The man then looked at Syifa, he remained silent and did not make any sound from his mouth.
Syifa, who felt cornered by Andre's gaze at her, immediately misbehaved.
The girl was like a worm in heat because she didn't know what to do.
Her face was now flushed red.
For some reason, the girl was now very nervous when stared at like this by Andre.
The girl's heart was also beating unusually.
"Why is my heart beating like this? Why am I getting nervous when he looks at me like this? Why is he looking at me like this anyway? Does he like me?" Syifa asked herself.
Andre began to make his voice heard as the girl was busy with her thoughts.
"Are you going to keep quiet like this?" asked Andre as he began his speech.
Andre waited for a few seconds but did not get an answer from the girl sitting next to him at the moment.
The man furrowed his brow in confusion.
"Hey, are you listening to me?" Andre asked again in a slightly louder voice that surprised Syifa.
"Heh? Soo... Sorry, you... You were talking to me?" Syifa asked nervously.
The girl stared briefly at Andre then quickly lowered her gaze not daring to linger too long staring at the man.
Andre nodded his head.
'What were you thinking that you didn't listen to my question earlier?' Andre asked.
Syifa immediately fell silent, she was thinking about what to answer.
She could not say she was thinking about her heartbeat beating like crazy because he was looking at her intensely like this.
"You daydreaming again?"
"Ehhh Soo.. sorry. I'm not daydreaming." Syifa replied, still trying to be evasive.
"Then why didn't you answer my question?"
"Which question?"
"Hmm never mind, forget it. Now, will we stay here until you finish thinking about your problem?"
Syifa furrowed her brow in confusion.
Then the girl looked around.
She was even more confused when she realized they had been stopping on this road all along.
Syifa stared intently at Andre as if to ask him for an explanation.
"Why did we stop here?" Asked the girl when Andre didn't give her an explanation after his stare.
Now it was Andre's turn to furrow his brow.
"Did you tell me the direction of your house?"
Syifa was getting confused.
"What does that mean? What did you come to my house for?"
"Oh my. Why are you so stupid?"
Hearing Andre says that she was stupid, Syifa immediately glared at Andre.
"What did you say? Am I stupid? Hey, you're the stupid one, not me." She said.
"If you're not stupid, why would you ask such an unimportant question?"
"Why do you say it's not important? Of course, it's an important question. I'm just keeping watch, how could you ask for directions to my house when you have no interest in coming there? What if you were asking about my home address to steal there?" Syifa said.
Hearing that, Andre looked back at Syifa with his sharp gaze.
"What did you say? I'm stealing? I'm a rich man, why would I steal from your house?" Andre said arrogantly.
"How arrogant."
"That's the truth."
"Hmmm whatever, so why are you asking for directions to my house? Do you want to come and ask for food?"
"Did you forget that I was asked by Aska to take you home?"
"So?" Syifa furrowed her brow.
Hearing Syifa asks another question, Andre was almost frustrated by the behavior of the girl next to him.
The man really couldn't get over how slow the girl's brain was.
"Are you that stupid? If Aska asked me to drive you, then I have to know the direction of your house if you want to get home safely." The man said while emphasizing each sentence.
"Ohh yes, it's true what you said."
"Huh, it's a good thing Aska asked me to drive you, otherwise I might throw you out of this car," Andre said in a low tone that Syifa couldn't hear.
"What are you saying? Why are you whispering like that?"
"Hmmm nothing, you just heard wrong."
"Hmmm well, let's go then. Why are you stopping here? Do you want to linger with me in the car?" Syifa asked.
Hearing that, Andre looked back at the girl sharply.
Andre's jaw seemed to have hardened as if the man was holding back his emotions at the moment.
"Arhhh what was my dream last night, how come I met a slow person like you today," Andre said while grabbing his hair in frustration.
"Heh, you've gone too far. Earlier you said I was stupid, now you say I'm slow. What do you mean by talking like that?"
"That's the reality, right?"
"I'm not slow."
"If you weren't slow, you wouldn't be asking such unimportant questions. Now I ask you, how can I take you home when I don't know which way to go? I don't know if I should go straight, turn right, turn left, or I should make a U-turn now because you didn't tell me where your house was. You said I wanted to steal." Andre said while looking at the girl's face lazily.
"Oh yeah, then why did you just keep quiet and not ask me directly? I don't know if you're confused about which way to go." Syifa said casually.
"Hey, why are you blaming me again? You're the one who's been thinking slowly. I asked you for directions to your house but you were thinking strangely, and now you can blame me. I think your brain has a bit of a problem."
"Heh, my brain is still healthy. Maybe it's your brain that has a problem." Syifa replied.
"Never mind, there's no end to talking to you. I'll probably go crazy the longer I argue with you."
"I'll go crazy arguing with you. A man who won't budge."
"Never mind, now quickly tell me the direction of your house. I don't want to be with you any longer."
"Hmmm, just relax."
"Yes, tell me quickly."
"We turn right, after that..."
