When the sun sets, Ezekiel and Hugo settle a camp in a small cave they’ve found just now. Hugo gathered the sticks together using telekinesis while Ezekiel ignited a fire and used aerokinesis to slightly strengthen the flames.
Both of them placed the raw meats and fishes, which they’ve caught earlier, near the fire to cook them for dinner.
Neither of them have been talking for a while.
It was because Hugo was still gathering his thoughts about the fact his entire life was ruined because of some stupid divine crystal. He would’ve had a nice life with whoever his family is if it weren’t for the Fatherland.
He may not bear a strong grudge towards them like Ezekiel, but it doesn’t mean that his hatred for them diminishes overnight. He hopes that they’ll receive karma for their heinous crimes soon.
