"Are you new here?"
"Don't go in anymore. Something's happened at the company. Some woman with the last name Pan is strutting around inside, even saying we should be her dogs!"
The seven or eight employees who had walked out of the meeting room, thinking Ning Fan was a new employee, kindly advised him.
"Where's Chairman Lin?" Ning Fan asked.
"We don't know either." Several of them shook their heads.
One of them had just gotten through to Lin Xiaoling's phone, "Chairman Lin, what exactly is going on? What happened to the company?"
Seeing this, Ning Fan signaled for the person to hand him the phone and then said into the phone, "Ling'er? I'm back."
"Brother? You're back? That's great! That's wonderful! Brother, you finally returned!" On the other end of the line, Lin Xiaoling instantly recognized Ning Fan's voice, surprised and overjoyed, her voice trembling with tears as she briefly recounted what'd happened.
