With a sword in his hand, Lionel had a serious expression on his face.

Though he seemed to be looking at the sword, his eyes were dazed.

He was clearly deep in thought.

I watched as he slowly seemed to sink into some deeper realm.

If this were a scene written in a novel, a bunch of profound words would have been written.

Regardless, it didn't change the fact Lionel was currently comprehending the nature of mana and was reaping massive rewards from doing so.

Crack! Crack!

More cracking sounds appeared.

Unlike when it first started and disappeared immediately, it rang continuously every second now.

The sound was coming from the sword in Lionel's hands. 

The sword was still coated in mana and unlike before at the beginning when it seemed it would disappear at any time, it was incredibly solid-looking now.

Clearly, Lionel's understanding of manipulating mana had increased. However, it came at a cost.
