Chapter 18

She got to her room freshened up and picked up her phone hoping this time there would be service. She tried calling Tina and it went through this time. "Ah...!" Bella exclaimed excitedly.

"Bella!" Tina screamed from the other end. "Tina!" Bella said almost crying she never thought she would here her Friends voice soon. "Bella where the hell are you we've been worried sick about you!" Tina said sternly. She's been so scared to death earlier about Bella, especially when Matthew barged into the house uninvitedly.

"Don't worry, I guess I'd have to tell you about it so next time you don't have to worry about anything!" Bella said calmly. "What are you talking about Bella? Are you in any kind of trouble?" Tina asked perturbed.

"No don't worry, I'm safe. I promise to tell you everything once I get back!" Bella said. Tina was a little bit calm to have heard her friends vioce even if she was a little bit worried about Bella. "You know earlier on Matthew came here with huge men. They held dangerous weapons in their hands asking of you. Bella listen, like I said before don't get too involved with Lilo that woman and her family are dangerous!" Tina said

"I know Tina, you told me before. Don't worry about Mathew, I'll call him once I'm done talking to you. I'm sure he means no harm, he's just being a little crazy!" Bella said but Tina knew her friend was lying about something but if she says she'll tell when she gets back then she has no issue waiting. Tina thought to herself.

"Okay then, but Bella please be careful with these people, remember your family and don't get into trouble with them!" Tina advised. "Alright honey!" Bella responded and hunged up.

Bella laid on her bed sighing harshly, she knew Matthew would be mad at her not responding to hid calls but that shouldn't make him want to kill her, she needed to tell him never to threaten her friends anymore.

He should never forget she's doing them a favour og risking her life for a woman that doesn't want to get married to a man who loves her for who she is. Who knows what Antonio would have done to her if he found out about who she was. Bella picked up her phone and dialed Matthews number.

"Look who finally decided to call me, 'Bella Adams!" Matthew said coldly. "I heard about your little drama at Tina's house today!" She said to here him laugh. "You're lucky you called right now, you don't know the beautiful plans I have for you Bella!' he said.

"Now listen dullard, you have no idea what I'm going through pretending to be someone I'm not. The least you could do now is sit in your stupid house and watch a movie instead of threatening my friends!" Bella said sternly. "It seems you have forgotten your place in this job, you acting to be Lilo doesn't make you Lilo!" Matthew said.
