Chapter 4

(Joseph's POV)

Larry and I headed off to my house to find my sister. I hope she will agree to this because it would be good for her.

Larry asked "Do you think she will agree on going?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know but I hope she does because it would be good for her after what just happened today."

As we reached my house, my mother came out. "What is wrong with Rachel? She didn't say a word to your father and I."

"Alec dumped her today because he found his mate and I'm gonna have to explain to her why he dumped her." I said.

Mom looked sad for a minute and said "Just take it easy on her son." I nodded my head and went inside, Larry went to the living room and I headed upstairs to my little sister's room. I knocked on her door and heard a little voice say "Go away!"

"Come on sis let me come in." I plead. Everyone knows I never plead but for my little sister I will. I would do anything for her. I waited for a few minutes, then I heard soft feet shuffling to the door. What felt like 5 minutes, the door finally opened. She walked away and sat on her bed, I came in and shut the door. I sat beside her and opened my arms towards her for a hug. She finally gave in and cried on my shoulders. I played with her hair while she was crying and rocking her back and forth.

I push back and gently grab her face wiping away her tears. "Sis everything is gonna be okay, it's not the end of the world for you. You will find your mate soon enough. You don't need Alec." I said.

"But why did he have to cheat on me and then tell me we are done just like that?" She asked, crying softly.

“Sis he didn't cheat on you and when he said you guys were done, it was because he found his mate." I softly answered.

She looked up at me shocked. "So the girl he was kissing, was his mate?" I nodded my head.

She looked down at her fingers. "I understand now, I will be okay. Thank you bubba." She said, giving me a hug.

"Now can I ask you something sis?" I asked. She nodded her head looking at me with her brown, goldish eyes.

"Do you know Sarah Norman?" I asked. She looked at me curiously and nodded.

"Well she was wondering would you like to have a girls night tonight with her and her best friend?" I said.

For a minute she thought about it and then started jumping up and down with excitement.

"Yes oh yes!" She exclaims.

"Awesome I will let her know then." I smiled and gave her a big hug. I got up and left her room and headed downstairs to the living room with a big smile on my face.
