Finally out;

Soon after Kerren defeated the orc boss students were transported from the simulation.

All of them were still in the room they were in before, the only difference was that the principal, who was at the stage wasn't there.

Some people were still afraid of the orcs that were supposed to attack them, but that didn't even happen so they were happy that hey could avoid such a scary and dangerous situation.

However, as they started remembering all that happened... Kerren! The hero who saved all of them!

Where was he!? Many people started looking around in hopes of finding him!

He was a strong guy with kind personality, he was a so-so leader of course, but so what? If they could befriend him it meant that they were set!

Having such a friend meant higher status in society!

Of course, those were just their wet dreams. They didn't know who that "hero" really was.

In the eyes of teachers, however, Kerren wasn't a hero. He was a guy who dirupted their test... alone!

That boss was supposed to be brought down by a couple dozen of students who teamed up, not by one guy who decided to be a hero!

More than that, how did he even do that!? It was a monster strong enough to be a "D" rank dungeon boss, and he killed him alone!?

What monster was he!? He didn't even have a weapon, he wrestled that poor orc to death!

Well, only teachers were saddened by that fact, recruitors from various organizations and guilds were extatic! If they could bring him into their guild...

As such, more than half of the people who knew what happened wanted to either befriend Kerren or to bring him under their influence...

Could his plan be considered a success? Of course! It was a complete success and Kerren already knew it from the moment he heard random people calling out for him!

Of course, most of them didn't even know his name, but some did! Thus, Gorven was now their "hero"!

Well, only some were truly grateful, most of the people just wanted to be close to such a person, it was obvious that he will achieve great things in the future!

As for Kerren himself, he was trying to find a teacher or someone like that, he needed to solidify his presence by refusing all of the invitation and praises, since he was so "selfless and good" that he doesn't need praise, he just did what he felt like doing!

It, however, didn't go that well as people around him started recognizing him.

He tried to talk it off but soon found himself completely surronded! He couldn't just barge out of here as it would break his imagine, thus he humbly accepted the praises and all that.

Some time after his saviour, a guild representative, finally arrived! Beside him was the principle, who was also interesting in him!

She had many questions to Kerren, but since there were so much students around him that didn't even bat an eye at them wishing to come closer to Kerren...

They told all of them to get lost! Not in that way, of course, they simply told people that they had a serious matter to disscus with Kerren and all that.

Students, however, were very aware at the fact that they wont have a chance right now, they tried their best but what could they do? Fight against the university? Not gonna happen.

As such, most of them left, only some of the most influential ones remained near Kerren, asking him seemignly infinite questions he didn't want to answer... Did they have a book that helped them with that or something?

Some were so absurdly awkward that he wanted to just disappear! For example, one girl told him very nicely that she didn't have a partner and would've liked to spend more time with him!

Of course, her claim didn't go unnoticed by other girls near Kerren, and they started a local war for his attention... Kerren only shook his head when he saw them.

What girls? He had a better goal in mind! Besides, he didn't even have a d... yeah, he didn't. It's not like he planned to use it for any of it's purposes, so why bother creating it?

No, i mean that he DID have it, but it was not working as intended, it was just for... decoration, i guess? It's strange putting that way, but how else can i say it?

Anyway, soon enough after he humbly rejected most of the students and only those who, for some reason, didn't even talk to him remained - it was principle's turn to ask him questions...

- How things are going, Gorven? I have lots of questions, but i can wait, would you like to talk to representatives of some guilds? They... insist that they need to talk you. -- she was all smiles, but her smile didn't make her look better, it was the opposite.

- No, i'm not planning on joining any guilds until i graduate.

Of course, it wasn't a lie at all, until he "graduated" he wont bother with anything, as he needed to get that "secret item" from the dungeon as soon as possible!

He simply called it "graduation" since after he did so, he, most likely, wont even attend this place and will have to flee somewhere to escape the pursuit if the commotion was too big.

- Oh, that fine. Would you like to follow me to my office so we can discuss some of the... important matters at hand?.. -- he phrased it awkwardly after it an interruption, as if something wasn't right with her words initially.

- That's fine, let's go.

As he agreed, some of the recruitors and representatives immediately voiced their dissatisfaction. Even a student, who was a son of a guildmaster of some random guild was dissatisfied!

They thought that the principle wanted to steal this guy all for herself! Well, it's not like they were wrong, but he did refuse them on his own, what could they do now?..

After a few minutes in principal's office...

- So, when did you awaken, Gorven?

The bulky lady asked with a slight smile on her face. She didn't even bother asking anything else.

- Uh.. so you already know -- Kerren played a dumb card -- It happened a few days ago, but i didn't have a chance to report it since i was trying to understand what my skills were...

It was a complete lie, but he did spend some time in the library and on the training ground so it was a plausible excuse. After all they couldn't prove otherwise, could they?

- So, what are your skills? -- she asked seriously.

- I'm sorry, but i dont want to disclose that information. All i can say is that, as you've already seen, it given me a pretty good boost in strength and allow me to regenerate faster, that's basically all. -- it was another card that he played, he couldn't be forced to disclose such information if he didn't want to.

It was rude and sounded unpleasant, ever if her voice was somewhat nice, Kerren didn't feel good hearing all that.

He was almost of the werge of telling her to f*kk off as it was one of the things he hated the most, when people weaker than him tried to order him around! Do this, dont do that! F*kk you and f*kk your orders!

Sadly, he couldn't do that, so he just...

- I understand. However, will i get a reward? After all, i've completed the test perfectly, even if not as you intended...

It's not like he needed that reward, but it would be strange if a somewhat poor student didn't even ask about it... Was he too smart to understand that he wont get any, or was there another reason?..

- It will be delivered to your room shortly, dont worry. Now, go talk to those guild representatives, they can be of much help to your future growth.

After bowing slightly Kerren left the room, and the principle started talking to an empty room once again...

- So?

- Nothing, he's clear. No support, has a family, not exactly rich but both his parents awakened aswell. Both are currently B rank protectors.

- Interesting. To awaken such a powerful skill at this age... I hope this one doesn't turn out like the last guy... Kerren, was it?...

After this they talked a bit more about him, it was mostly information about Kerren's current identity.

He himself, as he exited the building and started planning ahead once more... Saw Yusaya running up to him... How familiar...
