Can i?; Bloodlust;

As they arrived, Kerren found himself inside a highly fortified room.

There were many means of defence inside, several turrets, barriers and blockaed along the way. It seemed as if they were always ready to fend off the eruption!

Thus, Kerren asked - If it's fortified so well, what was the previous eruption? Where did it come from? -- he didn't direct it at anyone, he asked out loud.

Many people looked at him afted he said it. They wanted to tell him to shut up, but as soon as they saw who it was... They changed their minds!

-* What if he decided to kill me right here!? -- some of them thought. They were, of course, wrong about that. Kerren wasn't a monster, he wouldn't kill them. Cripple them? Yes. But not kill.

As he waited for an answer to his question a voice sounded.

- The eruption that time didn't happen in one of the dungeons we manage -- it was the bulky lady who was a principle of the university. -- If it was one of ours it would've been contained easily, Kerren. -- she looked at the one she mentioned with a scorn.

- I'm sorry for being late. I will be brief, today's test requires you to bring 4 goblin ears to pass it successfully. The dungeon u're about to enter doesn't have any thing dangerous inside, at worst you will be able to meet a goblin shaman. It that case - use the artefact we provided to let us know u're in danger. -- she loudly announced. It wasn't taken well.!

- What!? We need to kill goblins!? But we haven't even awakened yet! -- many complained with something similiar.

Suddenly, a voice interrupted without a care in the world.

- Can i kill other students if they bother me? -- Kerren asked.

Silence fell on the whole room, even the guards did speak.

The principle, however...

- No, Kerren, you cant kill them for such a reason. However, fighting other students to take their loot isn't prohibited. But, teamwork is heavily advised. -- She answered Kerren's question.

It raised many complaints from the students, since they knew that only those that awakened already could stand a chance against Kerren... There were none!

- Listen, why dont you just go in and collect some ears for me? -- Kerren asked a person nearby.

- Maybe u'll be the one to bring me some? After all it's men who should bring gifts to their partners! -- girlish voice answered as if it was a completely normal request.

- What do you mean i should bring you some? I asked you first! -- Kerren quickly answered as he glanced at her -- Why did you even bring me here? U'll be able to easily kill a few goblins alone, why bother with me? -- he didn't understand what was her reasoning.

He would, of course, if the test was somewhat hard and she needed help to get the first place for certain, but... This test was a complete joke!

She was an awakened! Of course, not the only one by now, but still, there were only 6 of them on the first year! Kerren and Yusaya included!

Did she have an ulterior move, or did she have something planned? Kerren didn't want to wait too much, thus he asked that in a nonchalant way.

- Maybe i'm in love with you and i cant live without you? -- Yusaya said while gazing on him.

- What bullcrap that is... Well, you'll tell me why sooner or later. -- he didn't bother to repeat his question.

After some preparations all of the students and teachers in the room started entering the portal.

Many of the students were afraid, since they never fought before and they didn't even understand why would such a test exists!

A while later after Kerren and Yusaya emerged in the dungeon...

- Follow me -- she suddenly whispered.

After a while of running they were inside a forest just a bit far away from the entrance. She finally stopped.

- So -- Kerren said while breathing heavily -- You'll finally undresss? -- he made a joke with a slight smile of his face.

- Maybe i will? -- she didn't bother to look at him for the first time, she then looked at him from her shoulder -- Listen, this dungeon has a mission. It's secret is that the boss is not your usual one! It's a small dragonfly, it's insanely fast and hard to notice... -- Kerren didn't listen.

-* She knows!? -- He couldn't belive his ears at all! She knew about the secret!? Could that mean that she's also from the future!?

Or... she's the one who killed it in his previous life and blamed it on a random guy?...

He needed to confirm his theory, thus he interrupted - You want me to take the blame of killing the boss for you? -- Kerren looked at her was that suddenly stopped moving.

- U're right! Wow, so smart! -- she was happy that he was so smart! -- Do you think you'll do it for me?.. -- she asked as she got closer to him, looking at him with happy eyes.

- Bahahahaha! -- He started laughing loudly! He was sure that she's the one who completed the mission last time! -- Well, if you give me all of the rewards i can consider doing that -- he wouldn't even think, he would still blame it on someone else.

- Well... -- she pondered -- We can do that, i need just one thing among the rewards. -- she pretended to think.

It was now obvious to Kerren that this place had more than he initially thought!

To this moment his goal here was to get that enormous wealth the reward was. It was a lot bigger than anything he heard about!

It was so great, in fact, that the guy who Yusaya gave it to in her previous life bought himself a whole country!

It wasn't big or rich, but it still was a contry with a population of several dozen million!

- What would that be, i wonder? -- Kerren really wanted to know what was more important than such an amount of wealth!
