Although the maids were uneasy still neither they could deny her beauty nor they can show their disapproval towards her decision. As Veronica was the Empress, they stayed true to themselves and praised her beauty. Veronica was tired so she didn't even bothered herself to hear their talks.

She went straight to the bed, the maid ordered to give her an oil massage. Veronica likes it's fragrance. After her massage she felt fresh. And was now ready to invade the palace with her curiosity. But not before eating something.

Veronica was in no mood to encounter any more vampires. Although the head maid was vamp but she was around her from the very first second which eased her.

She had her dinner in her room, Veronica looked towards the human maids who were there all over the palace, no the whole empire. They were same as blood banks. Veronica's hatred for vampire's increased reasonably. She was done eating.

All the maids inside her chamber wished her good night. and went outside. Veronica thought that know she can roam around the palace without any maid or guard's hindrance.

The moment she stepped out she saw two tall guy's. They were guarding her gate. They hardly took a glance on her and turned their heads. Their cheeks were flushed red. Veronica felt the same. But she gathered her emotions together to pull out words.

Veronica - Good night!!!

*she thought she would say this and walk pass them

Guard -- Empress we don't sleep.

Veronica -- Oh, yea...yeah!! It's same with me

* with a sily smile on her face she was trying to make sense

Guard's raised their brows in question. Before they could ask what she meant. She said

Veronica -- I.. I....mea..mean..that I was going to take a stroll in the garden.
