"Maxine said that you agreed to craft a potion for her," Duke Henry said to Evelyn.
She smiled, "Yes, I did promise to craft it for her."
"Are you sure that is a good idea?" He asked. "I do not know how comfortable I am with the thought of you making potions for vampires. What if someone finds out?"
"I trust Maxine, father," she replied. "I do not believe that she will tell anyone about the potions. It seems to be important to her and I do not even think she really told anyone about mother helping her all those years ago."
Duke Henry thought for a moment. It was true that he had never heard about his late wife helping vampires, but he still worried about Evelyn crafting potions. "I will respect whatever decision you make. You do not need to worry," he said as he made his way back to the door. "You should clean up and get ready for dinner. I am sure it will be quite the celebration."
