That day, James became an ideal son. James did all the work as he was instructed by his mother. He bought all the things that he would need during his school. He cleaned the dishes, he cleaned his room. He even watered the plants that day, all in hope that he would be able to convince his mother, not to take him with her to the party. But all of his hard work was wasted as his mother didn't listen to his pleas…

James hated going to parties such as this one. These kinds of parties are attended by all the high-ranked awakened ones and their families. Including them, all the high-class officers of the Faction also attend the party. And with so many people things get a little bit messy.

He hated such a gathering because these kinds of parties are like a gossip control center. Everyone would be so nice to your face and then as soon as you would turn around, people will start gossiping about you.

James and his mother are members of one of the founding families of Faction, the Tyrion family. Since they were thrown out of the Tyrion Family Complex, they are always part of different gossip. And James hated that. His mother is an awakened one, but she is only a Rank-11 Mage. She is one of the lowest-ranked awakened ones in such parties. As his mother is very weak compared to other people that attend the party, sometimes people throw hurtful taunts straight at his mother's face. And he hated that.

But his mother still insists to go to such parties because these types of parties are also a very good place to make connections. And she wanted James to make some connection in these kinds of parties as they would be highly essential for his future…

On this particular night, James and his mother had to attend the birthday party of the young master of the Fullbody family. Like the Tyrion family, the Fullbody family is also one of the founding families of the Faction. They are a very prestigious family and were doing a very extravagant dinner party for the youngest and the brightest member of their family.

James didn't know about Jarad, the birthday boy. But from what he had heard, Jarad was 14 years old. And the age of 14 he had become a Rank-12 awakened Mage. And that is truly a pretty good achievement. To increase someone's rank mages or warriors have to work really hard on their body and knowledge. And because of this ascending to a higher rank takes a lot of time. But Jarad somehow managed to become a Rank-12 awakened one, just after 3 years of awakening. This was the proof that Jarad was the Gold class awakened one…

Based on the parent's ranks, one could estimate what kind of rank the offspring of two awakened one would reach. Higher the rank of the parents, the higher the rank the offspring would be able to achieve. And based on this estimation classes are given to all awakened ones where bronze is the lowest class and platinum is the highest class.

Based on estimation, if a person could achieve a rank that is below or equal to Rank-10 then they are said to be of copper class. If a person could achieve a rank up to Rank-20 then they are said of the bronze class. Similarly, people with the potential to reach Rank-30 are given silver class, up to Rank-40 are given Gold class and finally up to Rank-50 are given Platinum class.

People that are of Platinum class are very different beings from the rest of the awakened ones. The offsprings of a Rank-50 awakened one are known to be awakened since birth. They are the monsters that reach maturity very soon and are considered real geniuses in the world. But they are very rare because the seed of an awakened one gets weakened as they grow stronger.

Neither Jarad's father nor his mother had passed the barrier of the Rank-40. Thus it was safe to assume that he was a Gold Class awakened one…

James's father was a Rank-38 awakened one. But his mother is just a Rank-11 Mage. Because of this, It was estimated that James would only be a Silver Class. But nothing could be said for sure.

James didn't know how high he would be able to fly in his life. But what he did know was that he would try his best in whatever situations he lands into...

It was a night with no moon. There were thousands of paper lanterns hanging from the different buildings and houses in the complex. The Fullbody complex made it look like a light beacon on this dark night.

The Fullbody complex is a large piece of land that was the home of the ancestors of the Fullbody tribe. As time went by, all the people of the tribe started using Fullbody as their surname and now live in the complex. Several families live in this complex and share the Fullbody name. But today the whole complex was decorated like this because of Jarad Fullbody.

He was the son of one of the strongest members of the family as well with his Gold Class credentials it could be said that he could also be a candidate for the future head of the family just like his father. He was the most talented individual in their family that is why the Fullbody family was making this event so grand…

Carriages with guests from all around the Faction started coming and going out of the complex as soon the sun went down. James and his mother came to the complex in one of the carriages wearing expensive-looking clothing for such an event.

James was wearing a grey color two-piece suit. While his mother was wearing a red long gown…

Following the lines of carriages, their carriage also made its way to a big building where the party was being held. As they got there, the carriage driver got off and opened the gate for James and his mother. After they got off, the carriage went off.

James looked at the crowd that was going inside the building. Like he had expected many big names of the Faction have gathered here tonight…

James saw a lot of high-level awakened ones as he went inside the venue. It has been a tradition that high-level awakened ones wear armor on their hands to show which clan or family they belong to. High-level awakened wears gauntlets and the should plates and pad over a traditional half two-piece suit. The insignia of their clan or family is inscribed over their right and left side shoulder pads.

At this party, James saw many high-level awakened ones chatting with each other and having a fine time. While going deeper into the venue, Jame's mother tugged him and said…

"James look that is Miss. Hubert." His mother said while pointing toward a middle-aged woman standing at the far end of the party…

Miss Hubert was wearing a half two-piece suit with arm armor and standing not too far away from them. She was a middle-aged woman with red color and a very strict face. Seeing her face, James instantly recognized her.

Miss Hubert was the principal of Emerald Garden, the best school for awakened ones in all Faction. As well as she was also one of the most powerful houses of the Faction as she was a Rank-45 Mage. He had read about her in many books and had admired her as she came to this position today, despite being a commoner.

"It seems to me that all the bigshots of Faction are here to meet this Jarad." James's mother commented.

"So are we… By the way, where is this Jarad?" James asked his mother. He couldn't deny it, but James was feeling a little jealous because all the bigshots of Faction are here to meet with some boy. And James wanted to see on his own what is so special about this boy…

Hearing this boy got up and started wearing a blazer. After he wore a blazer, the boy picked a simple red color box that was sitting on his dressing table. The boy opened the box to reveal a golden pin inside. The golden pin had a rose carved on its upper portion with a gem in its middle. The boy then pinned the golden pin on his blazer and walked out of his room…
