Chapter Twenty

She sent shivers around my body. My wolf howls at the back of my head. He was excited about her foreplay. I didn't expect that she will play along with me. But it makes me harder to control my lust for her. She is straddling me on my lap.

I rubbed her spine as she kissed my neck. I felt so hot here though the wind is cold.

'Zoë... I thought you want a dessert...' I murmur.

'This is dessert...' she moans teasing me more. I know that she will stop this soon before we get naked.

'If you didn't stop this I will mate with you tonight without your permission.'

'Really?' she laughs stopping from kissing me.

'Yes, I will do that. I will strip that beautiful dress of yours.'

'Okay!' she hands up as she stood fixing her dress.

She went back to her seat. I breathed losing the hot temper I had. I stood and give the dessert to her. It was the same dessert we ate in the restaurant last night. She loves the desert with no sugar and purely dark chocolate and I asked my aunt to make it for us. After we finish our dessert I pull her to me and we walk to the air mattress with lanterns, pillows, and blankets.

She lay on the air mattress pulling the pillow to her head. I lie beside her and stare at the stars above. Then, I stare back at her and roll over her. I grinned at her.

'Don't even think about it!'

'Come on ... just love bites.'

I started kissing her neck as I leave kiss marks. She moans as she pulls my hair. I love the way her fingers pulls my hair. I slipped my hands at her back and I zip down her dress. I pull it down a bit so I can see her chest. She is wearing a sexy black bra. I kissed her chests giving her love bites. She moans again which makes me more intoxicated to her.

I paused from what I am doing. She pushed me to her side and she rolled on top of me. She opens four buttons of my shirt. Her eyes are burning in lust like mine. She smashed her lips to mine. I pressed my hands on her sexy ass. I let a small sound of growls when she kisses my neck with light bites and pulling my skin.

'Zoë...' I murmur.

'Shh...' she pressed her forefinger to my lips that makes me chuckles. We heard someone is coming here to the rooftop. I was amazed that she locked the door with her magic. She continued making out with me.

'Zoë... are you making this because it is your gift to me?'

'Yeah... well sort of...' she smashed her lips to mine. I take it all. It takes us thirty minutes for kissing and cuddling with love bites. We had to stop before we go to another step.

I help her fix her dress. I stood to get the champagne and two glasses. We drink it as we talk about some things. I had two reservations of white wine if ever we wanted to get drunk. She was drinking too much while cuddling on my arms. If she only knew that this was the best gift that I ever had in my life. My mate is the best gift I had. I know deep inside me that I love her before I meet her.

She drinks another full glass champagne drinking it straight. She was red as a tomato. She looks so cute whenever she's drunk.

'Zoë...'

'Hmm?'

'I love you...' she didn't respond. I saw her eyes are closed into my chest. Her cheeks are warm and red. She's sleeping and it was too chilly here so I have to put her to my room here in the packhouse. 'You wanted me to put you already in bed?' I asked her to make sure that she is asleep.

'Hmm...'

I carried her downstairs to my room here in the packhouse. Some people in the town prefer to live here and the others wanted to be in a separate home with their family. People that are mate-less and don't have their own families that they lost in the war are here. We held a meeting every week in the hall of the packhouse. We throw a big party and events here.

I put her gently on the bed. Then I removed her shoes. I went to my closet and pick a polo shirt. Then I gently zip down her dress. I pull it down until I had removed the sleeve. Then I put the shirt to her and started buttoning it from the top to bottom. After I had covered her my shirt I pull her dress off. I kissed her chin that makes her moans.

'Nate...' she murmurs. I looked at her. She's unconscious. It was the first time she called me to my nickname that everybody calls me. She opened her eyes.

'Yes, baby?' I caress her soft hair.

'Are you going to sleep here with me?' I smiled slowly.

'Of course love. I will. Just sleep now, okay? I gotta check on something.'

'What is it?' I kissed her lips.

'They might be looking for me. Don't worry it won't take long. Just a minute.' I smiled at her. I stood and put her dress on my couch. I walk to the door.

'One, two... three...' she's counting the minute. I giggle and walk outside to the party.

'Nathan!' my dad waves at me. I went with them. 'We've been looking for you. This is Alpha Rick of Dawn Pack and his son Ray.' I bow my head to him and his son. His son did the same to me.

'So, he's the next Alpha... I see. He seemed strong as you.' He complimented.

'Thank you.'

It didn't take long at the party then I disappear into my room. She's sleeping and hugging the pillow. I went to the closet to grab a towel.

'It takes you more than a minute there.' She speaks. I turn to her.

'Baby... I talked to the guest. Alpha Rick is here together with his son.'

'Rick? He's invited also Ray?' ah so she knew them. Yeah right! She told me that they have been from different packs. She might have been in the Dawn pack's territory.

'Yes, sweetie. I am going to shower. Sleep now, okay?'

After I had showered and wore my pajamas I lay beside her hugging her from the back. I pull the duvet to our shoulders and I nuzzle my nose to her hair. When she feels my warmth she turns to me. Her eyes are blue and it was glowing or something. She caressed her fingertips on my naked biceps to my shoulder. It sent shivers on my veins.

'You like my body?' I asked her for teasing her. She remains motionless. I stopped when she shifted from laying to sitting on my top. Her eyes are glowing like it was burning or something. Then she smiles slowly.

'Yeah...'

'You can touch them. It's yours.' I hold her warm hands placing it on my big muscular chest. She gapes at me slowly and stared into my eyes.

'Nathan?' her eyes become lonely. I touch her face caressing her cheek.

'Yes, love?'

'You said that I am your mate...'

'Yes... you are my mate.'

'Do you know that there are consequences when you have found me?'

'What consequences? Tell me, love.' She leans on my palm that is holding her cheek. She holds the back of my hand closing her eyes.

'You can never reject me. You can never look at others. You can never make love to others or even kiss them.'

'I know. I don't want that, okay?'

'Because it will kill me literally.' A tear falls from her right eyes when she opens it. I wipe it.

'Hush now, love... I won't do that.'

'If that kills me, then I can never protect everyone.'

'Hush now...' I gently pull her to my chest. She pressed her cheek in the middle of my chest and hugged me. 'I am not going to leave you, okay? I'm here...'

I don't know about her childhood. It's so mysterious that I have to dig in to know her more. She's full of sorrow but she masked it with her smiles every time I saw her. She's not a pure human. She's an immortal somehow. I can feel that she was so special that my wolf even knows how special she was to everyone. If she feels rejection every time instead of love, then I have to love her more for her to feel it.

I cuddle her hair singing the twinkle, twinkle little star for her to sleep well. It works I guess. I can read her mind through the mind link. I enter her mind and join her dreams.

It was in the woods, she was wearing a white dress and a round halo of flowers on her head. Then there's a pure white wolf glowing in the middle of the woods. I can only see half of her body. Tobias chased her but she disappears.

I met her blue eyes and she smiles at me. She hid on the three and I try to catch her. She giggles and ran away. I chase her to the woods.

'Nathan...' she said cheerfully. 'Come and get me!' she winks. She's giggling while running away from me.

'Zoë! Wait up!' when I caught her we fall on the dry leaves. She sat up and bent over to my face. 'You tire me...'

She laughs and planted kisses on my lips. I hold the back of her head and pressed her to me more to deepen the kiss.

'You love that?' she asked giggling.

'Yes... I love you.' I caress her hair. She stood and run away from me.

'Come on and get me!' I stood and ran after her. In the woods, it's getting dark.

'Zoë!' I called her but there was no response. I had lost her in my sights. 'Zoë? Where are you?' I search all over the woods and look for her. Even my wolf is searching for her.

'Selene!' my wolf calls. Selene? Who is she?

I open my eyes automatically. I blink and rubbed it. My hand searches for her body but, I can't feel her. I sat up and found her getting ready. She zipped up her dress properly and wiped her face with the towel.

'Zoë... where are you going?' I asked her. She startles when she saw me half-naked sitting on the bed.

'I have to go...' she murmurs. She picks her shoes and sat on the bed beside me. She smooches my lips and rushed to the door. I put my shirt on and run after her.

'Zoë! Wait! I'll drive you home!' I told her but, she was fast.
