"She was just here,'' he mutters in confusion. My eyes stay glued to the place he is pointing to but I can't see anything. I don t know what is happening but I believe him.
I see the blood all over him.
He is not injured. It is not his blood, which just means that this is someone's blood and he seems to be adamant about it being his mother.
"She must have escaped," I manage, I just want to be understating right now and if he is insistent on saying that she was the one, then I will believe him.
"I killed her. How could she have escaped when I fucking killed her,'' he runs his hands through his hair as tears fall out of his eyes. This is hard for him and I can see that but I need him to focus on the important thing right now.
Gyles is missing.
I don't know where he is and I am starting to panic.
