Chapter - 106 [ Explanation & Bella Is The Strongest One! ]

"Stagnation."

His words were so fast which caused even the process of their death to slow down. In the reduced flow of time, only he was able to move or do anything. Even Celeste, Esprite, Damon, or Rastus who were the strongest among them couldn't notice anything.

Then, Adam used his Omniscient eyes on each one of them, searching for the reason of their sudden death.

While probing their body, he saw a creepy green colored chains tied tightly around their soul. On the centre, there was a pale green gem like crystal supporting the chains. It was emitting aura of curses and dark magic.

Within that he understood someone is indeed controlling their soul and body against their will. But it doesn't seem like they were against the idea of becoming traitors of the Kingdom.

'It seems like, the crystal is only a part of the soul of the culprit who owns this ability. If I destroy it, they may understand that this country does have someone with such a capability. I don't want them to hide anymore. I should make them believe that their captives are dead rather than destroying the crystals that are controlling them.'

Freely manipulating souls is something he can't do right now. That's why, he will do something to fool them. Aiming his whole concentration on the souls, Adam used his illusionist ability. From the outside, nothing happened. But, within the reduced flow of time, the chains that tied the souls exploded by itself.

What he did was simple. He used illusionist to make it look like the souls were destroyed together with the chains when someone tried to stop their death. In other words, to them, the culprits, it would look like, the traitors were killed due to the intervention of someone else during their sudden sacrificial death.

Deactivating the stagnation, it caused him to stagger a little due to the extreme use of time manipulation. Celeste who saw him stagger supported him suddenly and asked with concern,

"What happened, Adam? What's wrong with you?"

He smiled and told her that he's fine now. After breathing out, Adam looked down at the fallen traitors and said,

"I did something out of my capabilities just a little. I was just too concentrated in the process. That's all."

"What? If it's something you can't do, then why do it?"

Seeing the concerned Celeste, Adam patted her head and said in a serious tone,

"They were about to die due to a curse of some type."

"What?"

Not just Celeste, even Esprite, Damon, and Rastus was shocked by the reveal.

"It seems our enemies are more troublesome than we thought. This is only my guess. But, according to what I found from this incident, I can say that it may be the hard truth. Among their group, there is someone who can control others using some kind of curse. They all were under effect of that curse it seems. If I am correct, then their thoughts about betraying their group just so that they may be freed from the torturing is what caused them to die suddenly. We only have theories. In order to beleive it, we need to hear it from them."

Adam said as he pointed at the unconscious people. Only a few of them died thanks to his intervention. Now, they need to get everything out of their heads.

Although he could have done that, it may have aroused needless suspicion from the kingdom. It is not like humans know how to read minds. Only demons like vampires, or succubus and like can do it. Atleast to their knowledge. So it is better he did nothing.

Obeying him, the guards who were flustered by the sudden incident took the traitors to the prison after uttering a heavy 'Yes Sir!'.

After they were taken away, Rastus asked,

"I will have to ask everyone here to keep everything you saw here a secret."

He was forced to say it as he had to sooner or later. Why? Because the others were now opening their mouth wide due to the powress Adam has shown them. Even their king who is at Magic King level, and the Spirit Queen who is at least stronger than their king, couldn't do anything about the sudden incident. But, a young man did this all.

"Tell us your majesty! What level is he actually..?!"

"That is correct, your majesty! We won't believe even if you say that he's still an Advanced Master Knight..!"

Rastus could only smile wryly as even he himself doesn't know what level is Adam actually is. He only knows one thing. Adam was stronger than him.

Sighing tiredly, Rastus looked towards Adam.

'I don't want to reveal it actually. But, I feel like endless troubles are about to arise against not just this country, but this entire world. If I need to stop it, I need a number of supporters. There are no one here who is ready to betray this country. Though that can't make sure that they won't betray me, for now, that kind of thoughts does not hold any value. Besides, what can they even do against me?'

Closing his eyes Adam nodded and erected a barrier to block sound and said,

"What I am about to say here will not leave this room, no matter who it is. Even you Rastus."

Adam was strict. He didn't even used a title against the king. The others were angry at this. However Rastus said,

"Stop it, you guys. I was the one who asked him to call me that. Well, you will understand why now."

With that, everyone calmed down waiting for Adam to continue. Seeing that everyone nodded in understanding to his warning he smiled. Just to be sure, he turned towards Esprite who was staring at him with stars in her eyes. Blinking back to the present, she nodded after taking a look at all of them. Adam thanked her by patting her head. She seemed jealous when he patted Celeste. It was a correct decision as Esprite now was all smiles and more bubbly.

"Take a seat everyone. Also, guards and servants should leave. I will call someone else to serve us."

He wasn't requesting, but ordering. But not minding it since it may be a too crucial secret, the others obeyed him. After everyone else left, Adam called Bella with Telepathy. Appearing right next to him suddenly wearing her maid outfit, she attracted suspicion and killing intent from nearly everyone. But, ignoring them, she bowed politely to Adam and said,

"Greetings, Master. What order do you have for me?"

Seeing someone shrugging off their pressure and killing intent like it's nothing, they were shocked. And not to mention it was a young lady.

"Serve us something to drink and eat."

He said nothing else. Obeying him she bowed once again,

"As you wish."

She disappeared and within only 30 seconds, she appeared back with a moving cart. With lightning speed, she began to serve tea and snacks each of them after serving Adam first.

Clapping his hands, Adam attracted their attention from the highly efficient maid,

"Leave it to her. For now, let's discuss everything. First of all, why don't you all ask me? If it's something I can answer, I will do so. Though make sure you ask one question at a time."

He said with a smile. As someone who was curious at Adam, the Royal Knight Captain asked,

"I am sure we've met before, but let me introduce myself again. I am the Knight Captain of the Royal Guards. My name is Gilbert Flovo. Now, let me ask you this straight, Lord Adam. What level are you really?"

No one stopped Gilbert from asking his question. He was the Royal Guard Knight Captain. He had a high position in the kingdom after all. Only the Royal Court Magister seemed to be gritting his teeth in annoyance.

Smiling back at Gilbert, Adam once again created a barrier. This one was to hide his aura. Then, he released his whole strength without hiding it in the slightest.

A thundering sound followed it as even the room also understood his might. The whole room was shaking unstoppably. Web like marks appeared all around the room. Thanks to his barrier, it didn't affect the outside. But the inside was too much of a horrible sight.

Under his aura, not pressure, but aura alone, everyone felt that they are in an endless depths of power. As they glanced at him, their body refused to obey them, as they began shiver like scared lambs. Celeste who once was affected by his dragon aura could only think one thing.

'It is even stronger than before..?!'

He was only a human right now. What would happen if he transformed into a spirit or dragon..?

Esprite who for the first time felt that death is near her, stood there like a statue with a pale face.

Damon was sweating profusely as he doesn't know what to say to his daughters about their husband. He was such a monster.

Rastus who for the first time saw through his strength could only smile weakly.

'His strength wasn't something I can compare huh...'

The others who saw an endless aura raising from Adam's body and filling the room, understood why he can call their king without respect.

Bella who was not affected by it, thanks to her high level of strength, but she felt her whole body aching for her master. She was happy that he is stronger. For her, he still will be the only strongest, handsome, and rightful master.

Sighing softly, Adam hid his strength releasing the others from their shock.

"I will say this once. I don't care about ruling or anything else. I am not your enemy. Of course that is unless you try anything against my family. I won't care about it, as long as they are not involved. Also, I will support Rastus and his descendants unless they choose to offend me. What I am saying is, I don't care about being king or anything else. I just want to live peacefully. Also, as I said before, what you saw just now will not leave this room. Do so, and you will know what it means to have a demi-god as your enemy."

He said leaking a little bit of his killing intent. This made everyone, even Celeste and the others to tremble.

After hearing him, everyone was full of doubts and questions. It was natural since it is impossible for a kid to be so strong, eve stronger than the king. But what can they do.

Rastus who heard him asked,

"You said, Demi-god. What is that? Is that the level you are right now?"

He was only person who heard him right. The others also nodded their head for Adam to explain. Thus he explained about the levels after Magic King. Demi-god and God level. Though he explained how hard is it to become a weak demi god. He didn't explain about the Ancient story since he felt that it is not time yet.

"Are you saying that, you are the strongest person in the world right now? Even surpassing the dragons and spirits?"

Adam nodded. He wasn't wrong about that. Even the leader of the dragons seems to be a little stronger than Celeste. If he doesn't include them, then the Guardians of the world are only ones who can fight him. But even the strongest of them, the first guardian seems to be on the same level as him. And with his abilities and knowledge, he can say that the first gaurdian also can't defeat him.

The others who saw him nodding could only gasp.

"How did you even get that much strong?!"

One of them asked. Even though he and the others were training from their youth to old age, they can't such a level. But a young man was now surpassing them all. And he was only an 18 year old boy!

"Hmm... Let's say it is in my body? I have a special ability which can increase my rate of success and speed of succession."

He wasn't lying when he said that. The power to become the same rank as his servants is one of the mysteries of his body. And increases of rate of speed and success is the same.

Rastus asked,

"I knew you were stronger than me, but to think it's so far apart... I guess I was underestimating you.. By the way, you won't say something like that your maid is stronger than us, right?"

He asked and Adam averted his gaze. Rastus who saw this spit blood. The others also shivering right now.

"W-Why are you averting your face, Adam..?"

He said nothing. In response to his question, Bella answered,

"Although I am not strong as my master or Lady Beta, I am at the peak level Magic King if I say so myself. So, yes, I am stronger than all of you here."

She dropped another bomb. And everyone including Celeste and Damon spit blood.

Rastus once again asked,

"W-Who is Lady Beta? She can't be another servant of his, right?"

Rastus had a little hope.

"Yes. How did you know? Lady Beta is indeed my master's servant. But I am nothing infront of her. I am nothing but a waste of effort infront of her."

She dropped another one. This time Celeste who knew about Beta smiled weakly. The others were attacked once more.

"S-She said... S-She is nothing but waste! How can that be..?!"

"W-What level is this lady Beta is?!"

The others discussed shockingly.

"She's also at demi-god level, but weaker than my master."

She said once again.

"That means... We are nothing but insects in front of him..?!"

"Why did this happen..?!"

"Oh lord Adam!"

Everyone was suffering due to her attack. Adam could only stare at her with a deadpan look.

'She is such a wonderful girl, but her destructive power is off charts. Literally.'
