Another death

Mar strode through the corridors of the palace.

So far, they haven't got a lead on the assassin.

However, he has employed the help of all the dragon guards in the city, and he has sent them to all the corners of the kingdom.

"Brother!" Cyp rushed towards the prince.

On her arms is a sleeping Bin.

"What is it?" Mar didn't stop to pay any heed to his sister. He was focused on where he was going.

"Have you—"

"No, I've not." Mar didn't allow her to complete her question before he answered. "What are you doing out here?"

"You just returned right now, and haven't heard of what happened," Cyp cast glances around the corridors.

Since the crowned prince has been off and on the palace for close to a week, he's unaware of what's happening in the palace.

"What happened?" Mar stopped walking and turned to face his sister.

"A guard was killed."
