Chapter 82 Horde and Noah

The next morning, the sun shined brightly into the room through the window. The light hit John's face, waking him up. John opened his eyes and sat up after gently moving Carly and Maggie off him.

John got up and walked over to the window. Looking out John saw a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. John looked over to the wall and saw that there was a horde of walkers, at least 2,000 of them. They were heading straight for the wall.

The walkers must have followed them from Atlanta, or it was that horde that blocked them on the way to the veterinary college. Seeing them all shambling on over, John sighed.

John then walked out of the room and down the stairs. John walked out of his house and radioed the Androids to meet him at the armory. John arrived and saw all the Androids already there.

John grabbed a suppressed M16, and the Androids grabbed their own suppressed weaponry. When they were all geared up and had plenty of ammo, they walked out of the Armory and headed to the wall.

They ran over and climbed a ladder onto the catwalk. Then they began to fire at the heads of the walkers. The Androids were killing machines, they had perfect accuracy.

They killed walkers for about an hour before a group of other began to run over. They were awoken by the suppressed shots and banging on the wall. It was like an alarm clock, only it was made by the repeated banging on the wall.

The group climbed up fully armed and started to shoot as well. They stayed on top of the wall for almost 5 hours. The massive horde was now completely destroyed, every walker was now dead and there was a massive pile of dead walkers. They were spread out, creating a sea of bodies.

Rick and his group then rested, as they were now sore from the recoil of their rifles. John and a group of 5 Androids ran over to the Armory once again. They grabbed flame throwers and then they left.

They ran over to the gate and walked outside their wall. They then spread out and began to burn every single body to ash. These were not your standard flame throwers; the engineer Androids had built them, and they were fully electric. They used the natural gas in the air to shoot out flames.

They finished after an hour and headed back to the base. They returned the flame throwers before they split up. John walked over to his house and walked in before he started to make some coffee. On the way in he noticed that his family wasn't home.

When he finished pouring himself some coffee, he walked out of the house. He walked over to where everyone usually gathers. Walking over John was greeted by many people along the ways, he saw that many of the people from the hospital had started to integrate themselves into the main group.

Amanda saw him walking and came over to him and started asking more about him as they walked. Amanda was very interested in John and asked about Amy. Amanda said, "Who was that blonde from yesterday?"

John said, "That was my wife, Amy." Amanda then continued asking about him and her, asking about how their relationship was going and such. He told her that Maggie was a sweet and wholesome, but she had a little bit of wildness in her. John said, "Maggie is a bit of a badass."

He told her about Carly who was a very good news reporter. Amanda actually recognized who Carly was she said she had heard of Carly before because she had seen her on the news. Lastly, John told her about Alicia, who really loved poetry and different kinds of art. But recently John had noticed that Alicia cared less and less about that type of stuff.

Amanda listened intently and asked some more questions. John answered her questions as they walked, and they finally reached John's family. John walked off after saying goodbye, he walked over to Joey and Cassy who were playing on the ground. Charlie was in Maggie's arms sleeping soundly.

Amanda started to talk with John's wives and was surprised by the warm welcome. They talked about John and other things, while John was distracted playing with the kids. Sarah was playing with a ball, rolling it back and forth with John. Joey and Cassy were playing with little toy cars and barbie dolls.

John played with them, for about 20 minutes, while he drank his coffee. Slurping that perfect nectar, John smiled happily as he spent time with his kids. John stood up after a while and walked over to his girls before he took Charlie from Maggie carefully, making sure not to wake him. John then sat down in a lawn chair next to his ladies and Ms. Shepherd.

Alicia walked off for a couple minutes before she came back with some snacks and a beer for John. John smiled happily and took his beer from Alicia, giving her a kiss as thanks. John then pulled Alicia to sit on his lap, caressing her hair gently. Alicia felt John abs which were a little sweaty, John had taken his shirt off earlier because of the hot sun.

John smirked and said, "You know you enjoy wrecking the mood, I'll remember this when I see you doing the same with Michonne."

Rick coughed before he said, "Anyway, I need your ear. Noah has told me something you might want to know."

John said, "Alright." John then sat up with Alicia in his arms. John kissed her tenderly before she stood up and walked over to the other ladies. John then stood up and put on his blue Hawaiian shirt before he followed Rick. They walked over to a more secluded area before Rick said, "Alright Noah, tell John what you told me."

Noah said, "I came from Virginia with my dad, but things happened, and I ended up in that Hospital. I was originally in my old neighborhood; we have a gated community."

John said, "Alright. Why are you telling us?"

Noah said, "I want to go back there. My mom and twin brothers are still there."

Rick said, "Noah wants us to go down there and check it out, he wants us to bring him home."

John said, "Well, I guess I could bring him back there, but no one else should come. Where is this place located?"

Noah said, "Just outside of Richmond, Virginia."

John said, "That's more than 500 miles away from here. I can take you but no one else can come, it's too far. We don't know what we will find either, that's a long way to go for nothing."

Rick nodded and said, "Alright then, sounds like a plan."

Noah smiled and said happily, "Thank you so much. I didn't know what decision you would make."

John nodded before he walked off and sat back down. Alicia came over instantly and sat on his lap, laying against him. John smiled as he drank his beer, caressed Alicia and watched his kids.

When the sun started to set, John and his family walked back to their house. His wives had decided to bring Amanda over and let her sleep in the other guest room, Karen was going to stay with them for a while. She needed to be around people, it wouldn't be good for her to be alone.

They all sat down on the big couch and the kids were on the floor, watching Curious George. John sat in his chair holding Sarah as she bounced around. John then walked up to their room and lay Sarah down on the bed. His wives came up a couple minutes later, they put the kids in their cribs before they took off their clothes and got into bed.
