Chapter 6

It was getting dark so I changed clothes in the bathroom. I was wearing black cargo shorts and a blue v-neck. I put the empty glock mag in my invetory. I brought my girls to the roof of the RV with a big quilt, we laid down and looked at the stars together.

I said, "I have always loved the stars, they haven't changed. When I was captured and tortured by the terrorists while in the military, I used to look up at the stars and ask "Why?". I never did get an answer. Remember when I said I was rescued, I lied, I fought my way out. When the guy torturing me made a mistake I took the knife from him and stabbed him in the throat. The guards heard the noise and entered, before they could do anything, I stabbed them in the neck or heart. I searched them and found two pistols and some ammo. I took one of there uniforms and snuck to the bosses tent at night. I went in quietly and killed him, then I snuck out through the forest. A couple days later I arrived at a small village where there were stationed troops. Then they called in a chopper to take me back to the US, in the chopper I fell asleep and then I woke up in the hospital and found Rick".

They were surprised when I told them the real story, but then they hugged me and started crying. What I didn't know was that Rick heard me and was surprised by how I escaped from my captors. He was also happy to have me as a friend to help survive.

Then we went to sleep, with Shane and Glen as the night patrol. When I woke up Amy and Andrea were still sleeping, so I got up quietly and jumped off the RV onto the ground. It was around 8:00 AM, so I was going to go further from the group and scavenge some more. Not many people were up yet, but Sam was, so I went over to her. I asked, "What's up Sam?", she said, "I want to help the group more, what should I do?". I replied, "You could wait for the women to wake up and help with the laundry or you could occupy the kids or come scavenging with me". She said, "I will come with you", I said, "Ok let's go", then we left the formation.

We went further than I did before and found some food, batteries, gas, and some tools. Then we got in a truck and talked about ourselves. She talked about her problems, like how she was lonely without her dad, but I comforted her. After talking a while more we walked back to the group. It was around 10:00, when we got back, my women were awake and cleaning my clothes from yesterday. I walked over and gave them a little smack on their rear, then kissed them.

Rick, Shane, and Carl were going into the woods to hunt. I went over to the kids and told them a story about the manga bleach. When I finished telling the story they wanted more so I told them another time. Then we heard a gun shot from the woods, I said, "Get ready to leave just in case".

After 15 minutes, a beautiful brunette with her hair shoulder length, in her early 20's, and hazelnut colored eyes. She had C-cup breasts and a nice round butt, that looked like a good pillow. She was riding on a horse. She noticed me eyeing her and blushed, then she regained her focus and said, "I'm here for a Lori, Carl has been shot. My father is preforming surgery to save him", then she told us the location of the farm. I shouted to everybody, "Let's go, I will ride ahead", I quickly got on the dirtbike and sped back down the highway where we came from, found the road the woman said her farm was on, and sped down going 70 mph. I saw the farms gate was put up, so I crashed through a weak part of the wooden fence surrounding the farm.

Then I sped to the house down the dirt road, when I arrived at the house, a young man with a shotgun was fidgeting. Somehow I had beaten the woman on a horse and Lori. A couple minutes later, they arrived and were surprised to see me, but Lori just ran inside to see Carl. The woman on the other hand came over and said, "You got here fast", I said, "I care about the kid, his father is like a brother to me". She said, "Hi, I'm Maggie and that is my little sisters boyfriend, Bobby. What's your name handsome?", I said, "Hey Maggie, I'm Jack, Thanks for the compliment, beautiful. But are you not repulsed by my eye". She said, "I think you look cool, your still the most handsome man I have met. Can I touch your eye?", I replied, "Sure, Gorgeous". She was blushing from the constant compliments I gave her, then she touched my eye.

We then went and sat on the front porch in rocking chairs, I saw a guitar so I grabbed it and started to string a soft tune but it was beautiful. She said, "It's beautiful". Then Rick, Lori, and Shane came out and Rick said, "The doctor, Hershel, got some of the bullet fragments but there are more deeper in. Hershel said that he needed more medical equipment to get the rest of the fragments. The good news is that a local high school has the equipment, the bad news is, it's infested with walkers".

I said, "Okay, you stay here, Shane and I will go, along with someone to show us the way and what we need". Then a guy introduced himself as Otis, came and said, "I will take you there", I said, "Okay, Let's go, we have to hurry". Then we left the farm, heading to the high school, we passed the rest of our group at the farm's gate.
